Is it heavy enough not to slide on carpet?

I bought it specifically to use on carpet and it works great! Quite heavy.

Is is easy to connect and disconnect? As in, could I put it down and pick it up after each session?

Will the black rub off on my white yoga mat?

i use different colored yoga mats (non of them white) but there is absolutely NO rub off. If you have been using your mat on a thick carpet (like I used to) this is really the answer to mat slippage!

Does this work outside? I'm looking for solid support for practicing outside.

Daniela, Yes, you can use outside - it does provide solid support for outdoor practice. BUT DO NOT USE OR STORE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT AS IT WILL WARP! You'll be fine out of direct sunlight but if exposed more than a few minutes to direct sun it will warp. We haven't figured out a way to prevent this. Thanks, Jim LifeBoard, LLC
