Comes in a pack of 100, you won't run out quick but, even so, it's quite pricey for what you are getting. With that said the design really has no faults, it does exactly what it's intended for: coffee filter papers designed to fit the 1-3cup version of the Chemex coffee maker. It's slightly thicker than ordinary coffee filter papers, which is good because it doesn't stick to the spout part of the Chemex, giving air a place to escape and ensuring no seal is created. Without this little gap for air to escape, it creates a seal, which impacts on the flow of the water through the coffee and paper, in turn on the coffee steeping/brewing time and ultimately flavour. That's why these are great for the Chemex coffee maker specifically. These are literally designed by Chemex and for Chemex coffee makers, the half moon size in particular are specifically the exact Chemex coffee maker that I have, the 1-3cup version. So DON'T buy these if you don't have a Chemex coffee maker, you can get WAYY cheaper ordinary coffee filter papers and there is just no point spending more on these.

I have previously used Chemex filters (bleached) which are very efficient as they are thick like a blotting paper. When I saw the unbleached ones I thought I would give them a try as I only use unbleached tea bags. These Chemex filters were so disappointing. They are much thinner and as soon as liquid on them they are quite flimsy. By the time all the hot water has drained through the filter jug the coffee grains are also in the jug of Coffee. When pouring the coffee into a cup we then need to use a sieve. Item cannot be returned - a waist of money.

With it being Unbleached unfortunately it leaves a residual taste.

Se ven bien en la publicación, sin embargo, son tan gruesos que ni con tres enjuagues se quita por completo el sabor del papel, contaminando así la bebida final. De hecho parecen de papel reciclado. Me parece increíble que Chemex venda esta baja calidad de papel filtro. Terminé comprando los filtros oxigenados para mejor resultado.

Uso il kemex da quasi 10 anni, sempre coi filtri originali. Finalmente su Amazon si vendono a un prezzo onesto, grazie italparts!

I purchased the Chemex coffee maker after a friend recommended it (and the filters). Upon opening the box, I was in awe of the coffee maker. It’s really cool! I saw the box of unfolded filters and thought this is going to be a pain. I was wrong! I actually find folding the filters to be very relaxing and satisfying. I usually pre fold 10 at a time, then I keep them in an old filter box near my coffee area. Three folds and you’re done. Absolutely no sediment in my cup and I can now taste my coffee instead of paper, grounds, or plastic from my old pour over contraption. I love this! My friend said if her house was burning down she’d grab her cats and her chemex 😂. I tend to agree!
