When when parking is tight in your garage, this little item is a must have. It will put you in exactly the same spot every time. I give it anA+++ rating.

it works, but just barely. What does that mean? The design needs to be updated to have the ball swivels on the outside edge of the plastic housing and slightly canted outward. This product is an example of something that was designed by some one who never used it and never will. If they did make a prototype and used it they would see the design is flawed. This leaves room for a competitor to come in with a well designed housing and smoke this company. My garage roof is 10 ft high. I mounted this in the center and the lasers only just barely swivel out far enough to reach the center of the dash on each car, I mean that, just barely. If my garage roof was 8 ft I would ether have to return this or use it for a single car, not two cars. I need it for my long bed double cab truck, my wife don't need it for her car. SO EASY to fix if the swivels were placed on the outer edge and canted slightly outward. If that was done the lasers could swivel from straight down to 90 degrees outward and there would never be an issue pointing them in the proper spot on the dash. See? just like I said, designed by an inexperienced person who had no clue how it "should" be made. So, if you have a garage with an 8 ft roof this unit will probably not work for 2 cars. I can not report on longevity, but as of now it is doing the job but with the issues described above. If you buy it, keep the above information in mind. How can the company who makes this fix this design, make the lasers on a swivel at the end of the short post they are mounted on. This would be a double swivel and thus gain the extra adjustment outward that is needed. The main housing could remain the same and only the swivel post design would change. There you go Fosmon, I just acted as product designer for you and suggested a fix that can save this product. No charge.

Great if you need help parking in a tiny garage. It was very difficult to park my van in the space provided.n I either hit the wall or wasn't in far enough to close the door. This simple motion activated light was perfect to let me know where to park. It was easy to install on the ceiling and adjust to a spot I chose on the dash so now when I pull into the garage I know when I am in the sweet spot! No more having to get out to see if I am in far enough or if I have hit something unintended in front. It is much nicer than a hanging object. It will never be in my way. It also works for two vehicles as there are two light beams that can be adjusted.

It's easy to install. I was happy with how well it assisted with parking our cars. Unfortunately, it stopped working after 3 months of use. I've tried with a battery, without a battery, and leaving it unplugged and replugging it in but it shows no signs of life.

I bought this unit because it looks like a very good idea, but it did not work as well as I expected and a much simpler and cheaper solution works better for us. First, despite the "wide angle upgrade", the laser is not wide enough for two cars parked at a reasonable distance (e.g. 3 feet). It took me a great deal of time to try different locations, different angles but the best I could do is for the laser to aim at the center of one car, and the passenger side of another. The problem is that there is a center console in the car so I would sometime miss the small dot if it lands at the side of the console. Second, we need to turn the car to part park our second car in the garage so the front of the car will not stay at the same place, and not quite in parallel with the front of the garage. This makes it difficult for us to judge the distance when the red dot lands at different locations each time. I suppose with time we should be able to learn the good stopping points though. I was not quite happy with the product so I bought a "Camco AccuPark Vehicle Parking Aid" and I realized that I was solving a simple problem with a complex solution since that simple piece of plastic works way better than the laser. The biggest difference is that you do not have to look for the laser dot and the car will stop by itself when it reaches the "parking aid", so whereas you could bump into something when you are not paying attention to the laser, you will definitely not bump into the wall as long as you are not accelerating in the garage.... There is really no need for a catching the red dot game each time when you park.

The product works as expected. The only thing that people should be aware of is, if your garage has a flat ceiling say 9 to 10 feet tall. Be prepared to have to modify the unit. The lasers seem to be designed for a higher ceiling. I trimmed area around the base of where the laser swivel comes out of the housing. This allowed me to adjust the beams to compensate for the lower ceiling. At this price point I had no issues making the adjustments. The unit allows us to accurately park our two cars and a small tractor in the garage while still getting access to both sides of the vehicles. I definitely would recommend this device for higher ceilings and cautiously recommend it if yoy have a ceiling or planned mounting point 10 feet or under.

Realmente no es útil, explico por qué: Lo instalé en mi cochera, y si detecta el movimiento y prende el láser cuando por ejemplo una persona camina adentro de la cochera pero no no detecta los carros. Cuando yo estoy entrando al carro con la cochera no se enciende nunca entonces no tiene ningún sentido porque es para ayudarme con el estacionamiento si no puede detectar el carro entonces para qué. No lo recomiendo no está bien diseñado.

Horrível. Simplesmente começou a queimar quando conectei a pilha de 9V (que tem orientação única, logo não tem como conectar errado). Só não devolvi pela trabalheira de fazer devolução internacional e ainda correr o risco de não devolverem os valores.
