Greatest drain pan treatment out there!
My air-conditioning drain line was very clogged up with white slime. This is very difficult to remove. It was so plugged up that it would not move water fast enough to keep the overflow switch happy.I shop vacuumed out the drain line the best I could. Ran hot water down the line. Dropped one of these in the pan. At the end of six months the bar had all but dissolved. Before I replaced it, I poured about 5 gallons of water into the drain pan. The line had completely cleared itself. It was moving water as as fast as I could pour it in. Just remember to change every six months and you should not have any issues!

HVAC Tech recommended
Our HVAC tech recommended this product at an annual maintenance appointment. This is supposed to prevent the condensate pan drain from gunking up and causing issues/rust. My tech was charging $80 to plop this in the condensate pan so I ordered my own. So far, so good.

Helps avoid condensate drain clogs
This works great to help keep your condensate drain clear, and avoid the pan filling up and shutting down on the float safety or causing water damage. Lasts longer than the pan tablets, simply place in the pan under the evaporator coil.

A/C maintenance tech recommended and wanted $51 for one of these.Will buy from Amazon only. Also as part of my 6 month maintenance on year old system, he placed tabs in drain line. Ordered these from Amazon as well.Highly recommend these products to keep a/c condensate pan and lines blockage free.

seemed to work
I added this to condensate pan in spring last year in home in Florida and condensate line did not clog up over the next 6 months while i was up north(it had clogged up the prior summer while gone). There was a little of the yellow material from the tablet left in drain pan 6 months later. However I also had someone pour a cup of bleach in line monthly and maybe that was more important. The combination of these 2 things worked last summer

Item does not look like the picture.
The item does not look like the picture. I was expecting a wide strip but both strips were thin. Other than that it was okay.
