Hellwig7712 Solid, Heat Treated Chromoly, 1-5/16" Front Sway Bar

Definitely an upgrade over stock. The bar is thicker, and appears to be more reliable compared to stock.

I have a 2015 F-250 short bed SRW without a stock rear sway bar. My bed has always been full of tool boxes and the truck weighs 9,600 lbs. I had previously installed super springs and bilstein 5100’s to keep the rear suspension from sagging. This sway bar was the missing link! The truck rides amazingly smooth and feels very planted on the road. No body roll what so ever! Truck feels like it’s floating nicely on the shocks and eliminated front end shutter over big bumps. Matched this with moog links and the rear sway bar kit. Fit perfectly all around and installed it myself with minimal tools.

#7712 is clearly listed in the Hellwig catalog as a 1 5/16' (1.3') diameter bar, not 1 5/8'. This Hellwig bar was an improvement over the OEM bar.

Please review your listing for the product . 1 5/8 " diameter bar .( 1.625 " ) It in fact is only 1.3" diameter and is slightly larger than the stock sway bar , I never checked it at first and threw away the product packing . Sadly I cannot return it and have subsequently bought another one ( larger diameter ) from an alternate supplier . You should revise your listing since it is misleading .Guess I have to sell the smaller bar on craigslist .

I upgraded my rear sway bar to a hellwig and then did this on the front. Wow, what a improvement I tow a 32ft bumper pull and this has been the best addition for stability I have done.
