Great bird deterrent!
I bought this tape to keep our blueberries from being eaten by the birds. Previously, I used pinwheels, but this tape is better.I taped 18" pieces onto wires stuck in the ground near the blueberry bushes....scared the bejeepers out of the birds. WE, not the birds, got the blueberries. Even the slightest wind moves them about. The two colors flash and change with the wind.One negative: the tape gets sun-bleached within 6 weeks and is less shiny, but it will last long enough to harvest your blueberries. If not for this, I would have given 5 stars.

Woodpecker be gone! !!
I had purchased this product 5years ago to scare off the house destructive woodpeckers...AND IT WORKED! !!However, in the hot sun the red side started to fade,but I'm absolutely NOT complaining. ..5years is a LONG TIME!!! So this year they came back to wreck my house some more 😞....So GREAT PRODUCT!!!!IT REALLY DOES THE TRICK! !

try it and see for yourself
so far its working. i have a big octagon gazebo, approx 60 feet around outside diameter with $1,000 worth of wicker furniture with cushions inside. up to now the birds made a big mess and i mean a big mess. i had to use a pressure washer to clean it up. after i put up 16 3foot tapes two in each section no more bird poop. i will say one tape blew off and sure enough a bird let me know he was there. so what does that tell you that the scare tape is working..i tried the silver holographic scare away tape and it does not work. believe me it does not work. also plastic owls do not work after a while. so i hope this tape continues to do the job. just want to make it clear where the one tape blew off, that's almost exactly where the bird pooped. after i'm sure this tape works, i will give it a 5 star. so far so good.

Didnt work for my bird problem.
This didnt really work for me. The birds kept messing with my tomatoes something terrible this past season and I read it would help....it didnt deter them at all. I put ALOT of it out too. I never had a problem with the birds like this before. I did contact the seller who said they would refund if I returned the unused portion but I just didnt bother. It seems to have worked for some according the reviews I read, but not for me...maybe I had more stubborn birds! I dont want to bash a product that had alot of good reviews, but this tape just did not work for my problem at all.

So far so good (Canada Geese on a small lake in New York State)
I've had this in place for one week now...strung across my boat ramp, about 12" off the ground. The intention is to discourage Canada Geese from walking up the concrete ramp and proceding to tramp (and poop) all over my lawn. Thus far it seems to be effective. Twice I have seen the "usual flock" of about 20 geese swim to within 20 feet of my ramp and then move on down the lake. The lawn shows no sign of their presence, either.

Works Well on Barn Swallows
So far, it works well! We are trying to chase more than 100 barn swallows away from a boat dock. We've found that we must hang 3- or 4-foot strips at all points of entry to our enclosed dock's interior section, about two feet apart.We just received our second roll, to cover the last open section. A heavy rain/wind storm damaged some strips, which we will replace. Info like this in the Amazon description would be helpful.

Birds be gone
love it. After at least 5 years of birds nesting, birthing, and pooping in my overhead awning and trying everything possible to eliminate the problem its now been a week with no sign of nesting or any type of mess. thank you thank you and thank you for something so simple that did the trick.

Useless in my application.
I taped several strips face down on above ground pool ledge, some red side up & some silver side up. Plus tied 2 strips about 2 feet long to two tiki torches on deck rail. The birds sit all over around pool ledge & right beside the tiki torches. Also this item fades fast & the wind will destroy it in just a 3 or 4 months.
