Baker's Imitation Vanilla Extract (7.62 oz / 2-Pack)

I use this in applications where I don't care as much about the quality of the vanilla flavor. If you're going to spend the time and effort to make something substantial, like a cake or dessert that takes real effort, then go with real vanilla, since it would be pointless to compromise the quality of something that you had to spend time and money making. But for simpler applications, this imitation vanilla can be OK. For example, I make cream of wheat to eat in the morning and like to put vanilla in and for something that simple and quick, imitation vanilla is fine. It doesn't taste quite like real vanilla, and you have to use more of in total volume to get the same potency of flavor, but it's incredibly cheap compared to real vanilla.

I paid $3.50 for a 2 bottle pack…that is a great value. The flavor is the same as many grocery store imitation vanillas. I use this for baking and keep the more expensive vanilla for dessert sauces.

I love this vanilla because it doesnt have the alcohol scent or flavor that other vanillas have. I love baking literally everything w it. And the price is really great!!

For myself to clean on my house

Can't rate this product yet as I haven't used it. However, it does have good ratings for not being pure vanilla.

Adam's Best is better. Even though American's Test Kitchen gave this brand high ratings, it isn't anything special. Maybe that is why you cant find it in the grocery stores.
