Purchased this phone for my elderly father who lives in assisted living period. He has hearing, speech, grip, and mobility issues that affect his ability to use a telephone without assistance. The phone has a speaker phone for a hands free option and this is particularly helpful for conference calls. There are 3 memory buttons you can set up to program 3 different numbers for one button push dial. This makes it really easy for my dad to call us if he needs anything in case he forgets our number. When we received the phone we followed the instructions and registered it. When we went to set up the phone we made a mistake without knowing it and plugged the handset into the outjack on the back of the phone. For some reason we completely missed the handset Jack on the side of the phone. Needless to say we didn't get the phone to work and we were very frustrated. The next day I had resigned myself to purchase a different phone when customer service from HePesTer phone reached out to me via text to ask me how it went with. The installation of the phone. I told them that we couldn't get the phone to work and I thought it was defective. They responded with some troubleshooting things to try to see if we could get the phone to work. I was certain I had done everything right? The first time and was reluctant to try but I did anyway. Needless to say when I Followed the customer service reps (THANK YOU, Peggy!) suggestions that's when I discovered the jack for the handset on the side of the phone. I was embarrassed about being such a dimwit. But I was extremely happy that the phone was now working and I didn't have to get a new one after all. My dad absolutely loves the phone it's easy for him to use. I would recommend this phone for anyone.

I got this phone for my 93 year old Dad because his original phone finally decided to stop working. It took only a few minutes to plug the cords in and get it going. He likes the large numbers and the speaker function makes it easy to talk to people. For the price it is an excellent choice for someone getting up there in years and needs an easy to use desk phone.

This hasn’t worked since it arrived. I get an intermittent dial tone, sometimes no dial tone, it’s staticky, doesn’t ring- it’s useless. I got this for my 81 year old medically fragile mom with vision issues & she’s only been able to make 2-3 calls successfully.

Product works great and was as described. The large number phone really assists my mother on a day to day basis with telephonic communication.

Phone was purchased for an 88-year-old handicapped woman who has vision impairment for which the large buttons and easy contrast of numbers against background make it easy to use. Also, there aren't a lot of extra features to get in the way of simply picking up the phone and dialing a number and talking. Her old phone had dozens of functions that were activated by pressing one of the keys and it made it almost impossible for her to use the phone because other functions were called into play preventing her from using the phone. It's simple to use, straight forward, has a loud ring. Really likes it.

I have been looking for a wall-mounted large button phone for my mother. The buttons are large which is positive but we can't mount it on the wall. Very disappointed, cannot send it back because my mother threw away the packaging! I will continue with my search.

Purchased this for my 82 yr old mother-in-law. Wireless phones have become too complicated for her and sometimes she wouldn't push the "hangup" button. This is simple to use with just hanging it up in the cradle. (Or you can use the speaker button.) She loves that the two programmable buttons allowed us to put in ours and her daughter's phone numbers. She doesn't yet need the louder ring so keeps it on low. We both appreciate the large buttons for dialing, no glasses needed.

I purchased this phone for my octogenarian parents for its ease of use and it is easy for them to use but the 911 button accidently got pressed and the local police department showed up to make certain everything was ok. I think the product could be improved if the phone made an alarm sound or the red light blinked if an older person accidently presses the 911 button. Of course if there had been an actual emergency where 911 services were required it could be a life saver, so one of those things I guess one could say. I've hopefully got my parents to NOT accidently press the 911 button again, or I'll have to get them a similar phone without that feature.

Hi I bought this phone for my 89 year old mother who has mobility, hearing and visual impairments. Features Mom really likes are 1. The phone is sturdy and also lightweight. 2. The red easy to see conveniently located 911 button. 3. The ability to increase the speaking volume of callers. 4. The in use light indicator that shows if the phone is properly hung up. 5. The flashing red light for incoming calls. 6. The large number buttons that are easy to see and use with arthritic hands. The only feature mom would have liked to have that the phone doesn’t have would be if the in use indicator light would show if another phone connected to the same landline was in use so she would know someone in the house was on the phone. The customer service is excellent! The company was very receptive, kind and professional when answering our questions. They really wanted to help mom be able to use the phone. My family really wanted to find a phone that mom was comfortable and confident in using and this was the one for her.

The phone is perfect for my mother , numbers are large easy to read and the volume is great

Purchased this phone for my father how is in a nursing home. received the phone just as COVID-19 hit and was not able to get the phone to him for a while. Finally when I got the phone to him he plugged it in and it would not work. There was no ring tone, could not dial out or rec calls. a piece of junk. tried to return the phone but couldn't because it had gone pass the return date. Tried to call to explain what was happening but that turned out to be a challenge in it's self. never did get through to talk to some one about the phone.

Good phone, my Mom is almost blind and wears a hearing aid and she can hear it ring no problem. The volume on the handset is good but not as clear as one may like - decent but not crystal clear. And the cord (from handset to phone) could be a little longer. While she's still testing it out, over-all, I think it's a good product.

Highly recommend this phone, for anyone who is hard of hearing. It is well-made and easy to use. No problems.
