I give a four star four I wish it more those two ladies not some guy and Change between two lesbian but not. The get along a strong women I think in movie is all.

I mainly watched this to see Leighton Meester. She did a decent job but I am SO tired of movies about immature millennials finally figuring out they need to grow up. The whole thing was a cliché except - surprise! - one of the characters is gay. That doesn't make the story original, it's just adding one more trope to a tired, familiar collection of tropes.

I've always loved rom-coms, especially the ones I can relate to!

This film was okay. It shows how best friendships can change when serious significant others enter the picture. It was good to see a mixed couple of friends meaning a straight girl and lesbian. Best friends get one another like no one else can.

First of all, Gillian Jacobs is fantastic in everything. Second, this is the perfect movie for best friends. Mine recommended it when it came out years ago and we watch it on Galentines day.

OK so I absolutely loved Frances Ha, which is an indie movie about Frances and her friend drifting apart as a result of her friend's engagement and burgeoning career which left the struggling Frances at a loss. Go watch if you haven't. Basically I thought this movie might be that only with a lesbian so yeah +10 points.Did not turn out to be so. The leads were solid it's just that they didn't actually spend as much time developing the sort of romantic friendship (in a way) that really convinces the audience I think of the importance of the relationship we meant to feel. The parts where the friends drift apart and meet back together don't push and pull anywhere. It's like seeing the water flow from a waterfall abruptly stop and start again rather than even waves or something. I don't know. The end result was that I wasn't routing so much for the relationships (any of them) as much as I was amiably hoping gee wiz I hope she gets a job now that she got fired. Part of that might have been the simplicity of the character growth. Lesbian friend learns just maybe she doesn't want to spend an entire decade as a receptionist. Engaged friend decides with the help of fiance that she should pay for the bumper she was responsible for well, bumping. Basically the entirety of the ramifications of change.

I had watched a string of awful to semi-decent gay films before watching this. I was laughing so much throughout this film. So, happy it wasn't about the gay girl falling in love with the straight girl story. It's really a film about best friends. The chemistry between the two leads is so awesome. The movie is super charming. The script has it's clever moments. I enjoyed it so much that I had my twin sister check it out and she texted me the next day about how much she loved the movie and she was only 30 minutes in.

A cool film about friendship. It follows two women, Sasha and Paige, who are inseparable until one of them starts dating. Suddenly Sasha finds herself sidelined and struggles to find herself in a world without her friend constantly at her side. This isn't a romcom so if you're looking for that you're better off looking elsewhere, but if you're looking for a heartfelt film about friendship with a few laughs then this is the film for you!

Lovely little film, very amusing

So, vielleicht mal eines vorweg: Ich bin ein Mann, ich kann also nicht wissen, wie beste Freundinnen miteinander umgehen.Davon mal abgesehen: Für einen Film, der sich hauptsächlich um zwei beste Freundinnen drehen soll, war ich erschreckend unberührt von dem Drama zwischen den beiden Frauen. Insgesamt hat mich die Beziehung zwischen Paige und Tim noch am ehesten interessiert, was so eigentlich nicht sein sollte.Das Trio aus Leighton Meester, Gillian Jacobs und Adam Brody macht einen guten Job mit ihren Charakteren, die Chemie zwischen den Beteiligten stimmt auch. Daran liegt es also nicht. Das Problem ist eher, dass die beiden Freundinnen irgendwann ihrer Freundschaft entwachsen und sie das weder einsehen wollen noch darüber reden. Auch kommt bei beiden Frauen die Einsicht, dass in Ihrem Leben etwas nicht stimmt und was das genau ist, viel zu plötzlich. Das wirkt doch ein wenig arg künstlich.Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt ist folgender: Abgesehen von interessanten Nebencharakteren macht es für die Geschichte null Unterschied, ob Sasha auf Frauen steht oder nicht. Das ist einerseits löblich, weil es der Normalität zuträglich ist, andererseits vermutlich verschenktes Potential. Und gleichzeitig ist mir ein wenig sauer aufgestoßen, dass[SPOILER]Paige als hetereosexuelle Frau am Ende all das hat, was sie will, während Sasha zwar endlich einen guten Schritt Richtung Erwachsenendasein gemacht hat, aber nach wie vor keine bedeutende romantische Beziehung in Aussicht hat.[/SPOILER].Zusammengefasst ist es ein durchschnittlicher Film mit ordentlichen Schauspielern und einem recht auswechselbaren Setting mit mittelmäßig interessanten Charakteren und erschreckend wenig Lachern meinerseits. Mehr als 3 Sterne kann ich da beim besten Willen nicht vergeben.

Kein muss, aber man kann ihn sich mit ruhigem Gewissen anschauen. Definitiv keine verschwendete Zeit

Der Film plätschert so vor sich hin, aber auf eine gute Art. Der Unterhaltungswert, war genau das was ich nach der Beschreibung auch erwartet hatte. Gut und sehr glaubwürdig gespielt
