Paddle Ball Jazzminton Game - All-Season Indoor/Outdoor Racquet Game for Active Play

I bought this for my teenage boys for Valentine's Day so that they had something simple to entertain themselves over school break. They've played with it everyday for a week! I like that it is safe and fun to play indoors, and it provides light exercise indoors in winter. I'm amazed at the high quality for such a low cost. Our cat is obsessed with the feathers and loves playing with it as a cat toy. The feathers are still intact, amazing. I'm buying a second set so that we can play with more than two people at a time, and we can use double hands for two players. I highly recommend this product.

This is a fun way to play badminton indoors, even for non-athletes. It is so fun we bought another set as a gift right away. The paddles and birdies are well made and work well in our living room with somewhat high ceilings. It's a little tougher the smaller the room and the lower the ceiling, but if you're quick it will work. When a birdie hits a table, chair, lamp, etc., they simply bounce off with no harm. Seems like the same for TV's but the tip is relatively thick rubber so it might leave a mark or dent if you hit it just right. There are some foam balls available that might be better if that's a worry, but we've had no problems so far.

My wife and I actually play this, in our 40's. It's great exercise and quite a bit of fun when we're out camping. The paddles are comfortable even in an adults hands. The 'birdies' are color coded by speed which is helpful. If Yellow is too fast you can use Red. I actually thought that was a nice addition. I gave it 4 stars because one of the birdies basically fell apart on the 1st day (there are 3 feather glued into the rubber end and one feather fell out). It's not the end of the world, things like this happen and we have another. But as I am a quality assurance manager I do still have to ding it a star for obvious reasons.

What a cool product. It's very light weight, can be stored in a handbag and boy is it fun. The set comes with two types of birdies. One is slower than the other. Which means that you can use the slower birdie to practice before you go to the beach to show off your skills. Now my wife and I make sure to always make time at the beach to play this game. Excellent way to do a great workout.

I have had this for a xouple of months now. For the most part this is a lot like badmitton. Wanted to have some cool to do outdoors with my son. He was hesitant at first to join me until he started to play, we had fun and laughter quixkly followed. The bad part is the birdie feathers are not thr greatest as they fall out or break in half at sone point. Overall it is fun and something new to so OUTDOORS (Although, it can be played indoora too without worry about breakinf a window, just isn't as fun)

I was skeptical about this game because there are no rules. I was also disappointed that the grip on the handles seems loose and likely to come off. The birdies are also a bit fragile as the heads can pop off and I will probably have to glue them back on at some point. Negatives aside, this is actually a ton of fun to play. It's kind of like playing catch on speed, especially if the yellow birdies are used. Hitting it back and forth in close proximity requires great reflexes. Spreading further apart is also fun as the birdies naturally want to dive, creating a fun, lofted arc.

Got this along with the extra led darts. The grand nephews love it, especially the 3-year old. It's a bit advanced for the 2-year old but I think he will soon be playing with his brother. The darts that come with the paddles are lighter and therefore go farther but of course the led ones are super cool. The boys were playing inside the house. Of course there's the possibity playing inside that the darts can strike an item and in our case it could get stuck at the top of the Christmas tree lol, but for the most part, if you have the room, it's a good indoor game that we'll keep the kiddos active for a while.

I don't normally write reviews but I felt compelled to write one about this product. We ordered this set for an upcoming outdoor summer BBQ and my 7 year old daughter and I decided to try it out beforehand. We had the BEST time with it! It took us a small amount of time to get used to it, but once we got started, we couldn't stop!! I have to say that in one afternoon, we might have played with it for 3 hours straight without stopping. It was a blast and we can't wait to try it out with our friends! We originally started with the red birdie, but just felt the yellow birdies were better for us (even though we are not at all advanced). What a blast! I highly recommend this product - it's affordable and provides hours of fun!

This is very good product, had ordered it for office employees under fun @ work initiative (indoor game for employees). Everyone in the office liked it very much I received so many appreciation mails from employees. People have gone crazy about this. However now I am getting complaints about the durability of the shuttles therefore 4 stars. Our employees loved playing this so much they wanted to buy for personal use but they find it expensive. Overall good product worth buying.

Fun for outdoor activities. Hopefully this will get the kids away from their phones for a while.

My wife and I like to play a similar paddle ball game on the beach called Splash Ball. Splash Ball uses a slightly larger wooden racket and squash type rubber ball and is great fun and good exercise. This is our first Jazzminton Set and it's very similar to Splash Ball except with feather birdies as opposed to a rubber ball. You get two wooden rackets and 4 birdies in this set. The wooden rackets are slightly smaller than the Splash Ball rackets we are used to but still a good size and lightweight. The handles on each racket are covered in a spongy neoprene rubber which provides both cushioning and grip although I think the rubber will wear out quickly with use. There are two different colors of birdies in this set, Red ad Yellow. The Red Birdies are for a slower game while the Yellow Birdies are faster and travel farther. On the end of each birdie is a hard rubber knob which will bounce a little if it strikes a hard ground surface. Overall Jazzminton is an excellent simple and fun game, great for camping, the beach or hanging out at the lake or park. There are no real rules to Jazzminton and no net required. It's fun for all ages and our kids and grandkids like playing it.

It's actually mid way between paddle ball and badminton. Very fun on the beach since the volleys seem less affected by the wind.
