I purchased the two x size. They fit great. I recommend this product.

My husband loves these Hanes briefs. He doesn't like briefs that sit right on the waist. With these mid-hip, it is what his heart desires. They are durable and comfortable. They wash and dry beautifully. My suggestion is to dry them for longer in a medium heat dryer setting. High heat and elastic do not mix. Medium heat is better for the fabric and the elastic. We just reordered these so that he can have extras. The originals are over two years old and still look great. Remember: medium heat setting!

Large size has always been a trifle tight, so decided to try XL size. May as well be wearing boxers instead of briefs. Loose at the thighs and sags badly in the lower region... Still may tighten up after a hot washing and drying, and still a good product for quality of material and manufacture. These are probably fine unless like me you tend to run between off-the-rack sizes, in which case you settle for tight or loose and live with it when you have to wear anything at all. Worth 4 stars for most buyers, and rated accordingly.

These briefs are exactly as advertised, they appear color fast, and are really comfortable. I would purchase again 👍

Original Post: Out of the package they look like they run too large, like hi-rise waistband. But they shrunk plenty after first cold wash and fit properly enough and comfortably. Overall, good value for the level of quality. I would buy again, but I would buy the next size up. UPDATE: after first use and wash, the leg openings don’t regain their shape and stay loose, which creates gaps inside the groin areas where separation is needed. Boxers would have been a better choice. I wear 30/30 pants at 165lbs and purchased as usual the Small (28”-30”). I would not buy again.
