You can do this!
After cleaning the filters which I felt like such a bad ass being able to do that the spa level decided to go down. Figured it out it was the flow valve. I replaced that and I guess I over tightened this cap that was a tad old. Anyway I set about to get one and whew that was challenging. I should have come to Amazon in the first place. The new one was black but it worked. Came with a new gasket and a bit of lube too. This was so awesome. Ladies you can fix things!!!

Replaces Ortega 3LB check valve end cap. Fits and works perfectly for my application.
This replaces the Ortega / Purex pool equipment end cap pictured. The inner stem that holds the spring is longer so it looks different but doesn't impact the function. The only reason I gave less than 5 stars is due to the lack of product information. The check valve end cap itself fits and works fine.
