GloFish Aquarium Kit Fish Tank with LED Lighting and Filtration Included

We have a rather large goldfish that has continually outgrown our bowls. This is perfect for him. Setup was easy and it looks so good! I looked at a LOT of tanks and this one was a really good price and a quality product. Thick glass, LED lights, and easy filtration system.

I was nervous ordering something breakable and when I received it I was very disappointed at first. I picked up the box and already heard the sound of glass moving around. I opened the package with holes of it just being parts. But sadly it was all shattered. I immediately requested to return it. Two days later Amazon sent me a new one and I was so happy it was all intact. I set it up in my classroom on Saturday and it looks amazing. Can't wait for my students to see it. They already named the fish, Blanco.

Great little tank. Perfect for a few glo fish. It’s well made and super easy to assemble. The filter is easy to get to and it’s the perfect size for a starter tank.

If you plan on housing betta this is a solid tank, and if you have the money I would 10000000% recommend modifying the tank a little by gutting it if you’re looking for the portrait look with more functionality. Realistically, the back of the tank with the built-in filter takes up a lot of horizontal swimming space which realistically makes the tank maybe more like a little less than 4 gallons. Take a razor to the back silicone and take off the cover for the filter then just buy a sponge filter, air pump and tube or an over the back tank filter. There’s a very nice lady with betta fish on tiktok who has a tutorial, just look up “Marineland Portrait Tank” I bought mine second hand so it had a few issues such as not coming with an impeller for a water pump and a broken cover for the back of the tank but that was okay with me due to it being replaceable. If you don’t plan on changing anything, but if you ever need to replace the water pump because I saw some people complaining about that, lookup things like ‘Water Pump 50 gph’ and make sure to keep your elbows from the previous water pump! It’s what i searched and i bought for the missing one and it works like a charm!

I'm going to keep it short simple until the point, the packaging that it was boxed in on the outside of it was perfectly fine. Once you opened it and went to pull the foam out of it and the box shifted all you heard was shattered glass. So I can't make an honest or informed opinion or any real statement about the quality or the thriftiness or the value or anything like that because like I said it was shattered glass in the box. According to other reviews that I've read this is a great little setup and then again there's others that say that they had the same problem and that the thing leaked once it was set up. So purchase at your own risk, I hope it works better for you than it did for me. My kids are highly disappointed cuz they pick this one out

The tank is absolutely perfect for freshwater. But for reef keeping, the light is absolute trash. Got an AI Prime and it is way better. Made a custom lid with a mesh screen for better circulation. And the rest is completely stock. I have a small clown fish and a neon goby for fish and for coral I have zoas, Duncan, leathers and more in there. Even the stock pump is perfect for this little tank. Has taken over 200 days to get to its current state and I think it’s doing really well.

I have had this tank before but in a smaller size. Never had a problem with my old one till the filter went out. I decided it was time to upgrade anyway and with the fact I had loved the old one for years, I stuck with the same brand. Just got a bigger size. Couldn’t be more disappointed with the sound of this filter. It’s so loud! No matter what I do, it’s loud! I have had fish tanks for years! I have tried everything I can think of to get this filter to quiet down. Upon looking at it, it’s definitely not the same quality that my old tank came with. Completely thrown together, truly! Pretty sure the tubing they put with it was for something else possibly. It’s possible I received a refurbished filter on a new tank. Either way, I wouldn’t recommend going with this tank if you are not a fan of loud filters. The flow of the filter is way to harsh even turned all the way down for a beta fish, guppies, or even puffers! Unless that feature isn’t working on my filter as well. The one thing I will say is that the tank looks beautiful! Just sounds horrible!

First one arrived missing a part to assemble. Kids were a bit disappointed we couldn’t put it together immediately. Customer service was extremely helpful and sent out a new one quickly. Our betta absolutely loves their new home. Highly recommend and appreciate their great customer service. Definitely trust them as a lifetime buyer now. Thank you

Very good quality worth the money!

Aquarium is well put together. Unfortunately, the motor for filter stopped working within 48 hours. I had to scramble for a stand by filter to keep the fish alive. Not impressed
