This cream has helped lighten my dark spots and the formula feels nice on my skin. It’s not too heavy and doesn’t irritate me I even wear it under my make up. The tube size lasts a good amount of time even with regular use, its not greasy and definately worth it.

I love Palmers products. And this is no exception. The cream is a bit tacky, but somehow I like it lol. It absorbed quickly, is moisturizing and has brightened and faded dark spots on my skin. I like the scent too. Smells clean.

This, like all of the other products for spots, worked exceptionally well until they removed the Hydroquinone. I will NEVER understand, other than "money", why companies buckle under political pressure. But there we have it. "If it works, let's break it." Other than that, I've used it once daily, at night before bed. "Age spots" on the forehead were getting a bit ugly. Some of them were quite dark. Looked "dirty". Well, 2 weeks later, most of the lighter spots are almost gone completely, the darker spots are fading to where they're not noticeable. The scent is "clean", "fresh", not fruity or flowery. Just clean, so that's nice. Not "perfumey". The cream is somewhat "thick" but it actually spreads nicely. And though it does leave a bit of a "film", that's the "paraffin" (which, by the way, is great in cold weather, it protects your skin a bit). But it's so light and within a short time, it's gone. I can't say that it "minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles" as claimed on the box. But otherwise, it doesn't make them worse. You don't need to apply a lot of product, it smells "clean", and pretty much does what it claims.

I like this stuff, I do actually think it is effective, but you have to use it every night. It is really thick though and you only need a small amount otherwise it will leave a white cast. Not a very glowy product, kind of leaves my skin a bit matte. Doesn’t absorb the best and isn’t the most moisturizing but it does make my skin feel soft. Overall it has a really nice calming smell but I do have to use another moisturizer on top sometimes. I have oily skin for reference.

For reference Im female, about to be 42 years old in a few weeks. I bought for wrinkles ( crows feet, fine lines on my forehead and a line between my eye brows) This was just delivered yesterday and I tried for the first time last night. So my review is mainly on my first impressions of using. I will update after I have used it long enough ( assuming I continue to use it). First off, I absolutely LOVE LAVENDER! That is what got my attention initially. I don’t think it’s too strong but if you’re sensitive to smells, it might be too strong for you. You won’t know unless you try it. ( IF ANYONE FROM PALMER IS READING THIS, IT WOULD BE WICKED AWESOME IF YOU MADE A LAVENDER BODY LOTION, OR A LAVENDER AND CREAM SCENT MIXING YOUR REGULAR LOTION WITH LAVENDER, or maybe make both scents! Lol) 😃 😊 But also I’ve been using Palmers cocoa butter lotions and a few other products for a very long time, at least 20-25 years. So this is a brand I definitely trust and love even though some products I’ve tried over the years may not had been my favorite but everyone’s different. Keep in mind what works for one person may not work well for another and for many reasons. Ok so besides the lavender scent, it does smells pretty good! HOWEVER this cream is wicked thick!! More like a sunblock, if not thicker! It makes your skin white, even if you use a little bit. It eventually blends in I guess. I also have light to fair skin. Blonde hair, blue eyes. You get the picture I think lol. There is reason why this is supposed to worn at night, when you’re sleeping. You definitely can’t wear this during the day, unless you are staying home I suppose and and you certainly can't wear foundation or any other kind of make up with it. Foundation will not apply well and you’d be wasting both products because you’ll want to wash it off your face immediately. Again, don’t use foundation or even powder on top of this cream. It will not workout. Lol This leaves a strange texture/film even after it drys. I felt like it doesn’t really absorb into your skin. Like I said, it’s weird. At first I thought maybe the jar I got was bad or expired and had to be exchanged until I read some reviews after the fact. Others stated something similar to what I experienced. So I’m assuming that’s how it’s supposed to be. The next morning when I washed it off with my regular face wash, I noticed my skin felt wicked soft compared to how it was before I applied this stuff. So that part was noticeable without a doubt. Obviously it’s too soon to see any difference in wrinkles as most products generally take 3-6 months to see ANY NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE! Nothing is a miracle and works overnight or within weeks; with the exception of Botox, but that’s an injection, not a face cream. So we shouldn’t even compare. Any wrinkle cream or serum takes time, some longer then others. Be patient with any product(s) you try. The price point of this cream was pretty good especially if it does help with wrinkles and fine lines( time will tell) I didn’t experience any negative affects ( not yet anyway) no breakouts when I woke up, it didn’t burn when I applied it. Just the weird texture thing I mentioned earlier. I do have sensitive skin and breakouts happen with many products I’ve tried over the years. Sometimes it happens in 24 hours, sometimes within a week. It all depends. So we will see what happens after I use it more. I also bought their day cream with retinol to try with this. That will be a separate review. Lastly, To be fair for my reviews and products I try for wrinkles, I do generally use other concoctions like several serums, and facial peels/scrubs. I don’t ever just use one product so it wouldn’t be fair to review a product stating only that particular product worked and I seen improvements for said item. I don’t think enough people admit or think to state this information in their reviews… but to each of their own. Or if they had a side affect it’s possible it could’ve been because they mixed different products together they shouldn’t had Especially when it comes to retinol or any type of ingredient like it. So please know what you’re using and buying before combining products to avoid hurting yourselves or having a negative effect. Do your research. Ok I think that’s all I have to share for now. If you read all of this ( it’s longer then I planned lol) I hope you learned a thing or two or at the very least I provide information to help you decide if this cream is for you. Again I will update my review as time goes on and the reason for 3 stars is because it’s too early to tell if this will work for me and was my initial thoughts and impression.
