Good little pop'n go white balance target. Folds up nice and small. Scared the hell out of me when I opened it for the first time though. I have reflectors and green screen pop screens - bigger than this- its quite tightly folded and fun to watch you kid freak when they open it for you. The gray is very good and large enough for me to snap without having to zoom in to a small gray credit card which I also own. So this ends my search for a portable gray/white pop open gray card target. Good quality, and easy to pack at a great price.

Nothing fancy. Just a double-sided piece of canvas wrapped with a black foam band. But what it does is fantastic. One side is for white balance for correcting the color temperature of your photos/videos later in post, while the other is a gray card displaying 18% gray. The gray side can be used when judging exposure and lighting values. Most useful with a light meter or a video monitor where you're able to see how the gray value of the card lines up with your camera exposure. In general, it's relatively small, light, easy to pack, and ready to use whenever. Handy little thing.

I wish I had bought one of these years ago, instead of relying on the camera's Automatic White Balance. I guess I thought it was a bother and just another something to carry around, but the results now have outweighed my reluctance.

Great for setting manual white balance. Size is perfect and fits in my (rather large) kit bag along with other gear, so I never feel like I can’t bring it along. I tend to use auto WB and adjust in post processing, it when I want to be more specific, I pull this out. Took a few tries to get it re-folded, but all of these fold-up tools are the same way.

Product is well made. Easy to fold. Twenty four inch size is ideal for taking calibration photos. Gray appears to be a correct 18%. A particularly nice feature about this product is the neutral white side on the reverse. Printed target on the gray side is helpful. I am pleased with this product.

Overall, works exactly as expected. Only thing that would have been nice is if it had a retaining strap to hold it together. As it stands, only the bag keeps it from popping apart (and the spring is quite strong). It compresses easily, and I just leave it under my camera in the bag as an extra cushion, so no big deal, but if carrying it separately, you need a separate piece of velcro to secure it.

This item is very easy to use, but although it folds down to a more compact size, the carrying bag is the size of the balance card when fully open, so it's not much help if you're looking for something compact. I use it mostly in studio, so it's not that big of a deal for me. I haven't measured how accurate it is, color wise, but for the price, I'm happy with what I got.

This came just in time for my scheduled photoshoot. It is a game-changer. It is compact & easy to carry around. It has helped the color balance in my pictures immensely. Very affordable and arrived on time. Get it if you're wanting to take your photography to the next level!
