This is an excellent set of knives, blade wise. I have used them daily since my purchase in April, 2021. No problems until this year while preparing Thanksgiving dinner. I was cutting cherry tomatoes in half with the paring knife when a piece of the plastic handle broke off at the rivet closest to the blade. Unfortunately, my thumb was near where it broke and the knife slipped and nicked my thumb. Not a terrible cut but one that stung like the dickens. I always wash these knives by hand and dry them flat on a tea towel before storing in a knife block. They have never been in the high heat of a dishwasher. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and somewhat leery of using the paring knife again until I can come with a fix for the broken piece. The sharpener that came with the set is a great addition and keeps a very keen edge on the chef's and paring knives. I would recommend them but also advise keeping an eye on the plastic handle for any signs of wear.

These knives stay sharp and the sharpener is awesome! I have had the same knives that I thought were nice for 5 years, but no matter how well I tried to keep them sharp, they never stayed that way and eventually I stumbled upon these knives and took the risk to save my fingers and biceps. The sharpener is easy to hold and way better than those stupid rod sharpeners that suck. I think this is a great starting out set of knives, perfect for a college kid, newlyweds who forgot to register for knives, and bachelors finally moving out of their mom’s house. Just make sure they stay dry, I would worry about the blade rusting, although mine hasn’t.

Extremely sharp! You can easily lose a finger if not careful. Cuts through meat, fruit, vegetables like butter. Very ergonomic and made to last as exhibited by the triple handle rivets. Unlike other knives that are with glue. Love the variety in the set and the included sharpener which I have not used yet. Things I don’t like are the blades are a little flimsy bending fairly well easy. Also sheaths are not included to protect the blades. Otherwise best knives I have ever used.

About what I expected for the price, which is fine. I was looking for something to use temporarily until I could afford to replace 2 of my 4 stars that I lost traveling. They don’t have the weight or the balance of the more expensive lines, but they’re well made, and sharp and better than other knives available at this price point.

Great product. I’ve cooked professionally for years and these are the three knives I use most. My longtime set of knives were due to be sharpened, but because of Covid, had to be postponed. I bought this set to get me through until my grinder guy reopened. They work well. The blades are sharp and good quality. The handles are the reason the price is so low. They aren’t as heavy duty as a more expensive set, but they work just fine. As long as you take care of them and don’t abuse them, like you should do with any good knife set, these knives will serve you well.
