This bonnet is adorable! The material and look are great. I suggest ordering a size or two up. My baby is 3 mo average growth and the 6-12 mo is perfect on her with little growing room. Especially if you don't want too much hair showing. The hat is really well made except the trim on the front. I used scissors to trim away fabric that the trim was sewn on to. This helped to reduce the fraying. Be prepared though, you will have to cut some strings especially after washing.

It's for my granddaughter, to keep the wind out of her ears.

I was looking for a traditional baby's bonnet. After reading many reviews, I bought the 12-18 months bonnet for my 6 month old. The bonnet is a little big, but works nicely and she'll have some room to grow. This is an extremely versatile bonnet that can look cute with anything from little overalls to pretty church dresses. The brim is long enough that this should work well in the summer for helping keep the sun out of my baby's eyes. I also like how well this bonnet stays on. I've just placed the bonnet on my daughter's head to show the bonnet off to family and it stayed on extremely well. I've had no issues what-so-ever with the ties. Also, my baby LOVES this bonnet. She's had it on literally all day and never once tried to pull it off. I will buy more as she outgrows this one.

Beautifully made fits perfectly

This bonnet was perfect. It ran a little small. I bought a size 6 months size for my 3 month old granddaughter and it was a little big. This bonnet looks beautiful. I would highly recommend this bonnet.

Very pleased with this bonnet. Arrived quickly and the quality is nicer than the ones I could find in stores. I ordered the smallest size and it appears it will fit a newborn well with a bit of room for growth. I'll update with a picture once she's born.
