I have never seen a 3 x large gown with a 26" bust/chest. this does not seem right. i thought a size body was 36", 24", 36". am i wrong?

It’s a loose fit gown meant to be used by bed bound patients. It’s easy to put on and off. I bought small for my 92 year old grandma who is also tiny and petite, it was loose on her, just the way we wanted. I bought 2 when she fell ill in India. The material was comfortable. It’s been about 7-8 months now, still going strong. Still one of her favorite gowns she wears.

could it be worn to snap in front as that is where I'll need access?

Yes, but we would have liked the tied gown better!

Do these zip at the shoulder?

No zipper. Two snaps on each shoulder.
