Pure junk
If you are lucky enough to receive it without shipping damage, hope for more luck that it works right. Thorens used to be top notch turntables. Some company bought the name and is putting out crap. They have bought other high end names that are the same junk as these too. You can buy turntables for a 1/3 of the price that are better than these (Denon for one). If the sound isn't what you want , you can buy a different cartridge.
