I wanted a clear filter hose to complement the glass inlet/outlet filter pipes on my aquarium, and this works well. It looks better than standard green or black filter tubing and you can more easily see algae build-up inside pipes and deal with before it becomes a problem. Dip tube in warm water to make it more malleable when connecting to filter pipes.

I agree with everything Ariel says in his review.I could smell a chemicals ,I fitted the tube to my inlet filter thinking the bad smell of the tube will go.24 h later you could still smell the tubing even when lifting the lid up from my aquarium.Another day later my fish were gasping at the top of the tank and all my cat fish and clown loach’s gills were 10 to the dozen.I change back to my old 16/22 tubing and changed 50% of the water all my fish were instantly back to normal ( healthy)Now I must stress looking at the good reviews I’m a bit confused did I get a faulty batch ?Every aquarium enthusiast knows what he did differently and will correct it to get his fish back to a healthy /happy tank.I only change the old tube for the clear (smelly)new one .I would not recommend this tubing just on the chemical smell alone.

Replaced some older hose and the fit was good

Fits very snug on my glass Lilly pipes.. have to heat up to get the tubing off for cleanup.. also came longer than I needed.. but that's a good thing as it's very simple to cut to the length you desire.

Works with my Fluval filter and I love it

Needed an additional hose for my turtle filter. This is perfect. As described. Great material.

Not much to say about tubing but it worked for my aquarium and fit perfectly for a direct replacement on my fluval 307.
