C.R. Gibson Blue Leatherette Freestyle Organizer and Planner Dot Grid Notebook, 6'' W x 8.5'' L, 240 Pages

I purchased about 6 of these planners from office supply stores and Amazon. Excellent design. - Blank page on left with subtle grid dotty for any purpose (drawing, notes, lists). - Well spaced and non-cluttered ruled paper on the right, with simple calendar listing month and dates. - Durable and professional soft bound cover, with strong strap capable of holding between the pages firmly. - Excellent size, and number of pages is correct for daily use over 6-12 months. - 3 woven book mark tabs for tracking place. Plan to buy more in future.

I bought this booklet for its to-do list format. That's not true. I bought this because it is the same company that produced my 1954 baby book. In 2025, the quality has not waned. I will use this every single day and I am assured it will help; keep me organized.

I have purchased this notebook six times now for work and it is my absolute favorite. I love having a dedicated page for each work day and the hardcover makes it easy to take notes on the go. Have a To-Do list and a follow-up section has helped with keeping track of priorities on projects.

Love these planners!

A little over a year ago I purchased an identical C.R. Gibson planner journal from a different retailer and I really liked it. The covers were sturdy and the build quality seemed very good. I ran out of pages and ordered this new one from Amazon, only to take it out of the packaging and notice it seemed much more flimsy than my old one. The covers are now thinner and bend a lot easier, and the lining inside the cover appears to not be glued on as well. C.R. Gibson must have switched manufacturers, because I noticed my old planner was made in Vietnam while this new one was made in China. I'm not making any judgements on either country's ability to manufacture quality products, but I can say that it's clear that the product quality has decreased with the change in manufacturer. I still like the journal's layout and how it makes it really easy to plan your day out. I love the to-do list section as well as the flexible date section. The gridded freestyle plage also is great for jotting down quick notes while in meetings, on phone calls, etc. The journal itself also has a clean and professional look to it, so it's perfect to have at the office. I haven't found a planner that works better for me than this one, so I do hope C.R. Gibson figures out these issues of lower quality.

I love this is lined and not dots. The divider strings are attached very well.

I actually picked one of these up just on a whim one night at Walgreens. I'm hooked. This is the best planner layout. Actually, it's the only layout that's ever made sense to me! I can plan multiple days in advance if I want, which works well for migrating tasks I need to move further down the week. It's easy to browse backwards in time to find a note or a task, too. I hope these keep being manufactured. Seeing few cover options makes me a little nervous. I really don't know what I'd do without them! I'd have to start making my own layout I suppose 😔 Please keep them in production!

Since it's hard to tell from the seller's pictures I added my own. The page on the right is the To-Do page and the page on the left is open and bulleted. This is my second planner from this line and my favorite hands down. I've been using the black/red bulleted one and while I'm not normally a fan of bulleted layouts, this one works for me. I like the option to add graphics, etc. that lines don't allow for, but the bullets are dark and close enough they can function as a line to write on as well. I use a gel pen on these fine with no bleed-through. The addition of the To-Do page in this book (the blue one) makes it an even bigger winner for me. I now keep two: one for daily work tasks (this blue one) and one for in-depth note taking (the black/red one). The option to circle the date on the top of each page (available in both planners) makes them even better - easier to locate a particular item I may be searching for. If you're on the fence, just give it a chance and get one. Promise you won't be disappointed. Edit: I'm on my third yesr with this planner now and noticed some changes. The edging is no longer a dark blue and the pages are now white with light grey text rather than ivory with darker text. Disappointing as I liked the older format better, but still the best planner I've found.

This may be the greatest notebook for gigs and projects I've ever used. I can't believe they don't make it anymore. The sections on the right are ideal for planning and notes during the day.
