Follow directions
So far so good. Easy to apply. Very low viscosity so it goes on like water. In the attached picture, I did the edges first and then went back to start at the top. You can see the different color where it was applied, but that was while It was wet. Looking forward to my ramp, lasting for years and years.

Excellent exterior wood preservative
This is my favorite product for preserving wood exposed to weather. It is very effective and worth its price. Basically, it is topically applied pressure tested chemicals, that can make untreated wood resist rot and insects damage. In addition to the chemicals, it seals the wood surface and "plugs" end cuts so it doesn't wick water inside. It has a strong smell and green color, but these vanish over time. When dry, it can be sealed with an oil based primer to lock in the color to paint over with light colors. The can arrived securely taped - no clips, like described in other reviews. I applied it liberally with a 2in chip brush Note that this a "stronger" version than the clear one. The clear one is only for above ground uses, whereas the green product can preserve wood below ground (like posts) when used properly. I only use the green one, even above ground

good product.will stain if not carefull when useing
Good smelly stuff! Lol. I always use this or similar product when I cut a 4x4 or larger post to keep the rotor down to a minimum over the years.evwn though its pressure treated wood it does.t get all the way into the post so I use the chemical treatment to stop it from rotting g on the cut where it qould.habe water standing on it.

To me worth the money. And the product really seems to soak in well.
Looked this product up before I bought it. It was listed as garden friendly and effective. It's very liquid - low viscosity ' seemed to really soak right into the wooden stakes I bought. My "project" was simple wooden stakes so I didn't bother getting too nuts with it. But if you have some wood you really want to last I think I'd do at least two "coats" to whatever's going below ground level and a bit above. And if you live in a wet climate I think I'd treat all the wood.

Works great ventilation not an option outdoor only
Local shop wanted twice as $$ for the product. Arrived quickly and safely triple packaged. Had a buck of left over wood that I wanted to use for outdoors so friend recommended this. It stinks - outdoor well ventilation needed and it will smell for a Few days . Give it time to fully dry for Sure. It stretched farther than I thought it Would ( wood)! So I only used one can not 2.

Wear vinal or rubber gloves when applying.
This stuff is worth having, I like to coat the bottoms of posts, then paint them before I set them in the ground even on pressure treated ones. It keeps the bugs and wood-rot fungus away for years. I think it works very well.

Prrfect sealing product
Comes out white, turns clear immediately, don’t know how it works but it’s exactly as they say--dries fast, drips are common but no concern, and soapy water cleanup. Fast, economical, and effective, I did a test with a spare piece of lumber, dipped it in Woodlife, dried 24 hours, then SUBMERSED it in a bucket of water, it’s totally waterproofed! Can’t claim for how long, but for the purpose of my test it was good enough for my usage, which was a newly constructed handicap ramp. And at a price of four gallons for a hundred bucks, I’m ecstatic! Be advised though, it’s VERY thin, thinner than water even, definitely wear eye protection for spatter if you’re brushing it. Also, the can says nothing about stirring, but I gave mine a quick shake before opening, simply because you may have a few lumps of white pigment stuck to the inside of the lid if you don’t. In fact it’s usually a good idea to give any stain, paint, or sealer a stir before using.
