6 x Kilner Clip Top Glass Storage Jar - Square 2 Litre

I bought these fabulous Kilner jars as I wanted to re-organise my pantry; I wanted to do so without buying plastic containers (mainly because I've almost completely eradicated plastic in my kitchen, but also because I generally use either Kilner or Ball jars to organise my life, and these will match everything else I have).One of the less-than-favourable reviews said that the item is sold as a 2 litre jar, but that the label said it was a 1.3 litre jar (surely this isn't a comment on the item though, as it sounds as though perhaps the seller just accidentally sent the wrong item; the issue could easily have be resolved by contacting the seller).The item I ordered was a 2 litre jar (and that's exactly what arrived), and I use these 6 jars for organising my white rice, brown rice, green lentils, porridge, plain flour, and bread flour; I'll likely buy another box of 6 to finish organising the rest of my kitchen, as I have so many different things in my pantry that I use a lot of which would justify a 2 litre container in my pantry.I recommend these Kilner jars highly; I spent several weeks considering if these would be too big (or, rather, "too heavy" by the time they're filled), yet they really are perfect; I'll definitely be buying more.

The overall build quality is excellent. Look closely at the angle made by the lid on each jar relative to that of the others. This is indicative of a high standard of automated manufacture that results in a product of consistently high quality. As someone who values build quality and reliability I am convinced that this product is a first-class design. Thank you, Kilner.

It’s very solid and gives my kitchen an uplift.. it’s a bit heavy and also be careful while opening the lid, since it’s a glass lid and when you accidently leave it it bangs very hard.

Arrived safe & well packaged. In use already, perfect for my home made Strawberry Gin, 1 litre of gin, strawberries and a little caster sugar and I'm in business. Ready in a month then going to be used to make Sloe gin in the Autumn. Sloe gin a 3 month plus project.

I use these to store rice, beans, raisins and that sort of thing. Very good airtight seal and looks attractive on the shelf
