This is meringue powder (I use this for royal icing) but there is a really easy recipe on the back for making meringue cookies. I made the recipe once but prefer the texture and flavor of using real egg whites for meringues

Q: can this be used to make french macarons?

I’m not sure. But it is definitely grainier than different meringue powder I’ve used. Ie: I tried it for my royal icing & it was a disappointment due to the fact it kept clogging up the tip when trying to pipe. The price is good too but I’ll skip the use of this brand when using for fine piping work, just my opinion
