WOW !!! Great item and worth the cost !!!
TNIS THING SHOULD COME with a warning label !!! IT CUTS like a hot knife thru butter !! Blade weight makes it spin a bit slower but when it gets to full rpm, IT'S insane !! Quality is impressive, blade size is actually bit big, I should've gotten the 8 inch instead. QUICK installation, very easy. Compatible with my Ryobi brush cutter attachment. I used this for almost an hour straight today and had no issues. Cut like lightning and did get bound up a few times from small twigs and such but overall, DEFINITELY A WINNER !! Would buy again but I'd go with the smaller blade.

Monster Blade
Many years back, one of the neighbors decided to plant running bamboo behind his house. I wasn't living here at the time so before I bought this house, the bamboo was filling up the back. Not in my yard, but I'm sure it wanted to! There are no homes behind mine, just a big area where sometimes people will walk. I'm sure the neighbor put up the bamboo for privacy, but it got way out of control. Being that I didn't want to put up a fence - because the view is just too great - but the bamboo was getting too out of control, ordered this blade for my weed eater. I've hired people with machetes in the past to thin it out, but tired of that expense. This thing totally cuts through the thickest bamboo easily. I'm a senior female and if I can do this, anyone can. After cutting through the bamboo, I've discovered trees that were trying to grow.... fruit trees! I didn't know they were there. They never had a chance. And now I have the extra benefit of fresh fruit. Love this blade! It's a sturdy hard worker that seems to stay sharp. Just be sure to bolt it on as tight as possible and check to be sure that it stays bolted tight. Mine has, but I wonder if the vibration could loosen it, so far, it's stayed tight.

Nice blade
The 10 inch blade performed well in the heavy Scotch broom I use it on and gets 4 stars. The carbide tips did not break off easily as I've experienced with poorly designed blades. Of course, when I hit that big rock at full throttle, some of the tips went flying, but that's pretty much to be expected. The 9 inch blade gets only 3 stars. The carbide tips are not as well connected as those on the 10 inch blade. It cuts well in smaller, green brush, but the tips get knocked off fairly easily in larger, dry material.

Good product
Good heavy-duty blade. Holds up very well when cutting underbrush.

Revolutionary for cutting mature, heavy hedges
After years of using hedge trimmers, the occasional pruning shear and pole saws, using this blade attached to the extension on my powerhead was revolutionary. While, it cuts the little wispy pieces easily just like a hedge trimmer, when you run up against finger sized pieces of wood that would normally jam up the trimmer, itโs like a hot knife through butter. Definitely a little freaky to have a open whirring blade at the end of the extension, and the other hand, Iโm pretty confident any reasonably capable adult can avoid a casualty! Strongly recommend.

Stayed sharp and worked well
Good blade, made short work of some thicket at the edge of the yard. Most of these little trees and shrubs were between an inch and a half to 2 inches thick at the base. The blade stayed sharp even after hitting a few rocks and some hidden re-bar. I've only used it fir about 45 minutes total, but it stayed sharp.

WIll not work on Ryobi Expand-it
Will not work with a Ryobi straight shaft 40V Expand-it with the brush cutting head. Installed easy but started up the trimmer and then the trimmer stopped. trimmer works fine with the included tri blade brush cutter.

Quick and quiet cutting woody brush
Works well on a DeWalt 972 power head, in spite of manufacturer's advice not to use such a blade. Quicker and quiter than the original 'dull' spoked blade when cutting woody brush (salal).

Cuts through thick and thin with ease
I had to cut a spiky shrub and didn't want to use my hedger and a saw. Using this blade, I was able to cut the barbed shrub into small pieces very fast and then place them into the paper bag. And it cuts really fast! The only thing you need to mind is the chards flying from the pieces of the shrubs. But that should be expected, just don't stand in the way of them.
