FrameWizard 15-Inch Digital Picture Frame Includes MatteMagic, ElementEffects, and MovingMemories (Black)

I have purchased a 8 inch Framewizard before, which I was pleased with and decided to purchase a 15 inch later on. To my disappointment, the 15 inch frame could not read my uploaded pictures. The pictures I uploaded were not big, were the file types required per instructions, and were the same pictures Framewizard provided in their CD. My Framewizard did not work. What made things worst is after you delete a picture on your frame and then plug the frame back into your computer, it will mess up your Framewizard program by eliminating one of the Element Effects. I had my Weather Element Effect missing on my 8 inch and my Leaves Effects went missing on my 15 inch. Uninstalling the program and reinstalling the program will not help recover the missing Element Effect!

Update from July 8, 2013: Originally I purchased the 8" as a gift, but then I took the plunge and purchased the 15" version for myself. I am so glad I did as it is AMAZING! The size and scale of the screen really brings everything to life in vivid color. It's really gorgeous. I am enjoying adding audio as well as mastering the transitions. The software is intuitive and so easy to use--just click and go. Seems to be unending options. The hardest thing about this purchase is keeping it out of the hands of my mom, who now wants an upgrade! She who did not like digital frames is now hooked on using her Framewizard. It's become a form of artistic expression!Note the 8" is now about 14 months old and is still going strong. My original 8" review is below.I purchased the 8" as a gift and am now looking to get this 15" version for myself. Before giving the frame to my mom, I used the software and created some really cool pictures using family photos which I loaded to the frame--it seemed more of a gift that way. Anyway, after using the software and having fun changing up the pictures, I decided I want one of these! I thought I would add my two cents here as well.I gave this to my mom for Mother's Day and I am still smiling, as it was the perfect gift for her. Before giving it to her, I used it so I could preload some family photos so she would have something on the frame from the start. The software had some demos that were helpful, but the software was intuitive to me and the real fun was just playing around and adding the tons of options or what they call "effects" to the pictures. Be warned though, this is addictive to use. In fact, I was having so much fun adding stuff to pictures including big bonfires, shooting stars, flickering flames to birthday candles, rain, changing backgrounds, etc., etc., that I almost kept it for myself. (It's such a great price, I need to buy another one for me.)My mom couldn't believe how easy this was to use. She said it didn't take long before she was adding floating balloons to my niece's birthday party photos, and later she told me she even "put" her dog on the beach with his tail wagging and added waves coming in to the shore. There are many, many options and you can add multiple options/choices to the same picture so it seems the combinations would be limitless. (It would be very boring if it was a one option per picture thing...) This is really cool software and you really have to try it so you can see for yourself.Note that I called the 800 number as I had a question when first using this, and got a live person on the line within a few rings. Not often you can say that these days. It turned out to be something strange that needed tweaking on my old, trusty home computer, but the rep was still helpful and walked me through what to do even though it really was my problem not theirs. Kudos for the great support as it's hard to find these days!

TERRIBLE YOU GET NO HELP WITH THIS ITEM NOTHING IS EXPLAINED CLEARLY, EVERYTHING IS DONE SO FAST WITH NO VOCALS TO EXLAIN ANYTHING, YOU CALL NUMBER U GET RECORDING I JUST WASTED 300.00 BUCKS! A REAL RIP OFF!

I bought this for my wife this last mother's day and she loves it. It is so cool how we can animate the pictures of our grandchildren. They love looking at the pictures of themselves moving. They thought it was like the pictures from Harry Potter! Really easy to use and figure out which is key for me since I'm not so great with technology.
