Nose Hair Trimmer for Men, Ear Hair Trimmer with Vacuum Cleaning

at first it feels a little bare bones at this price point, being that it doesn't come with a case or extra accessories or batteries or anything, just a small brush to clean it with, that said there is a lot to like about this trimmer. The fact that it has a little vacuum compartment that sucks up most of the hair is awesome, it's also super easy to clean out, it's easy to remove the blade if you end up needing to replace it with a new one, it's also easy to open the vacuum compartment when needed, (though it takes a bit of finger dexterity), and because it's washable you can just rinse the inside of the blade area/vaccuum area out with water which is also awesome, in my use with this item I found that it did a really good job of allowing me to pinpoint the specific hairs I wanted to remove, and overall think this is a great item for fine detail shaving work, its awesome for nose hair, but it also works for eyebrows and touch up around the beard and so on. Good purchase overall, especially now that rechargeable AAA batteries are pretty common place, there's no real downside to this item.

It's good, easy to use and easy enough to clean, on the durability front, however, one of the batteries needs to be jostled to a particular position every time I use it. Still works fine but a bit of a hassle

Have purchased many nose/ear hair trimmers. I remove most body hair. Nothing gets as close as shaving/waxing. This product has worked better and for longer than similar items. Carefully assess the cutting part assembly. There’s a small port to run water through to rinse from the inside out. Overturning will unscrew-remove that piece. The vacuum claim is real, it pulls the clippings into the trimmer and it has a small, disc shaped, fragile screen filter inside that you should clean gently and daily if time allows. Read the directions if you're not mechanically inclined-the metal&black plastic tip unscrews, theres a grey collar that also unscrews. The grey collar is where the port opening is to run water through the tip for a intermediate clean.. Its not rechargeable and takes two batteries. This likely helps keep water from penetrating the electric components. After a year of sometimes daily use, the blade might be somewhat duller, theres no corrosion or oxidation on the battery components/contacts. I clean out my nose and ears, so only hair is getting pulled into the trimmer (use some kleenex and q tips prior to trimming) and this thing keeps cutting. I keep this trimmer in a work bag and always have spare batteries. I make long drives for work meetings, it helps clean things up on the go. Don’t cover the exhaust vent when using, it needs to move the air to function. Trimmers could be better in general, but comparatively this is a 5. Replacing the batteries not a big deal. I have used Energizer MAX and this trimmer hums.

I’ve been using the Panasonic Arc5 for a couple of years now and have loved it so much, it really changed the game for shaving for me. Because of that, I trusted that Panasonic had great men’s shaving products and decided to buy this supposed top of the line nose hair trimmer, which as it turns out has been nothing but a disappointment. First, and most importantly to me, this thing has a hard time actually shaving all the nose hairs down especially for a close shave, and misses a lot of hairs. Because of this I have tried to apply more pressure to get that close shave but it has now nicked the inside of my nose several times, so their claim that it won’t pull tug or cause pain or have any direct skin contact is a straight up lie. On top of that, the cap can be difficult to put on fully and practically every time you take off the cap the head of the trimmer comes off too and gets stuck in the cap. That part isn’t that big of a deal but when you consider that this is supposed to be a top of the line product it is quite ridiculous. And it’s all plastic design just makes it feel cheap. There are other problems too but the problems i mentioned alone should be enough to tell you that there is nothing top of the line about this product. Overall I would say this product is no better or even worse than cheaper options, you are much better off saving your money and getting something cheaper, it will be just as good.

For years Panasonic produced the best-designed nose hair trimmer. This new Panasonic design is disappointing, as follows: The cutting head does a poor job of allowing hair to enter the head. It works much less well than the original Panasonic cutting head design and much less well than other head designs from other manufacturers. One design in particular from a firm that makes hair care electronics has a truly superior new cutting head design. The vacuum function that is designed (I think) to pull hairs into the cutting head and to cause hairs to be captured in a chamber doesn’t really work and adds needless complexity. The cap for the cutting head has two small plastic tips that are likely to break off—it’s just a carelessly considered design feature. The unit overall is larger and less portable than other comparable nose hair trimmers. The unit doesn’t work well with lithium batteries—other nose hair trimmers have no issue using longer lasting, less likely to leak, lighter in weight lithium batteries. And this unit is playing on Panasonic’s reputation in being priced around 100 percent higher than better functioning, better built units from some other well-known manufacturers. All in all, Panasonic would do well to go back to its original design and to discontinue this model.

This item is great far better than others I've bought on the market. BUT I notice the guarantee states valid only in the USA. This is strange as offered on Amazon I would have thought product would have a worldwide guarantee ?? Therefore buyer beware
