Cedar America Cedar Blocks for Clothes Storage Closets and Drawers Moth Repellent - Natural Aromatic Cedar 8 Blocks

The cedar blocks I received are not the blocks advertised. The blocks in the photos appear nice and thick, with smooth sanded edges. The blocks I received are much thinner (about 1/4" thick) and packed in two stacks of four. They have splintery edges that are falling apart, not sanded at all. Not much cedar scent either. What I received looks nothing like the product images. I am very disappointed.

Beware, these are tiny and hardly have any scent at all. So why did I rate them 5 stars? I just wanted to keep moths away from my clothes and I can't explain how given the lack of scent, but I haven't found a moth since placing these around my closet. Don't buy these if you want your closet to smell like cedar because it won't but my experience with it as a moth repellent has been positive.

These may work for some people, however, they will not work for my purpose. The pictures of these blocks are misleading; they are not even .5" thick let alone .75" as someone had answered to a question. My intent was to stack them two deep and use them as feet for an old cedar chest I'm restoring. If they were the thickness represented, they would have worked. Now I have to figure out another option which puts my project way behind schedule. Perhaps the seller should consider answering questions to ensure they're answered accurately.

These blocks are pointless. Biggest waste of money I’ve spent. Perhaps on some planet far far away there might be some use for them. If you have cedar trees in your backyard don’t be an idiot like I was and purchase these. Let’s not hate on them for making a quick buck,instead let’s hate ourselves for not picking up the chainsaw

No cedar smell unless in a securely closed area, so not likely effecting moths. I bought two similar items and put them all in one double door closet. Upon returning from 2 weeks of vacation, there was no cedar smell when I opened the closet doors. Closet has two wood doors (not air tight), measures 3' deep by 5'wide.

Learned the value of cedar wood as a child. Not only does cedar wood have a very nice fragrance for humans, crawly and winged critters don't and that's the truth. I very much recommend this product.

Nicely made, but not doing anything for the moths, except perhaps increasing their aesthetic in the cupboards and providing a nice scent as they mate....

Great price for these cedar chips. I used them to replace others I currently had. Didn’t realize how badly I need these new ones until I opened it and smelled how fresh and clean these are. I’m sure they will work well protecting my sweaters.
