Nostalgia Retro Electric Large Hard-Boiled Egg Cooker

My old egger broke so I went looking for a new one and found this one. Glad I did. Love the buzzer but not nearly as loud as some make it out to be. Eggs cook perfectly and the shells are easy to get off.

This is a great product! Easy to use & eggs come out perfect! So easy to unshell too! It even has a timer so no need to worry if they are over or under cooked. Egg type [hard, soft, scrambled, etc.] can be selected to your preference. Bought another for my sister! Definitely a good buy! No more egg boiling for this momma!

I love hard-boiled eggs and I use them in several recipes, too. However, I always dreaded pulling out my large pot to boil them and always had trouble getting the hot eggs out of the pan once done without dropping some or splashing water everywhere. This little egg cooker has changed my life! I love that it will cook a large amount of eggs at one time (up to 14 - plenty for me to make a platter of deviled eggs for a large crowd), and the measuring cup for the water has markers for how much to use if you like to make soft- or medium-boiled eggs, too! Coupled with the piercing tool on the bottom of the measuring cup that helps to pierce the big end of the egg to help with even cooking and to ease the peeling process when done, this device has it all! The alarm that goes off when the eggs are done is a little piercing and it will not stop until you turn off the device, but that's not a problem for me. It's easy to wipe down once the eggs are removed and I will occasionally run water over the base on the cooking surface (taking care to keep the electrical cord out of the water) but it's not that necessary. The best part for me is that if I only want to hard-boil 1 egg for my breakfast, I can do it easily with this cooker and not have to worry about looking up cooking times or anything. You just fill the cup for whether you have one or two levels of eggs and for your preference of cooking density. I love it so much, and the retro look is so cute!

This little thing works pretty well… the only thing I must say is when you want medium boiled eggs, be sure to add a bit more water than the mark or else you will end up with runny eggs. As soon as you get the hang of it…perfect eggs every time!

Love, love, love this little machine. I mean how hard is it to hold an egg and pierce one end? How hard is it to hear the annoying buzzer when it's done (since I'm usually off in another room and need the noise). How hard is it to put on a rubber glove or use tongs to remove the hot eggs to the ice bath. How hard is it to hold the egg under running water to get a shell off? If you aren't always on a time crunch and don't feel like watching a boiling pot or just don't like cute appliances then this is the egg cooker for you. Just take a damp cloth to clean the heat plate and you're good to go the next round.

I filled it with water to the hard boiled line, put the eggs in the tray, poked the hole in their top with the handle needle in the bottom of the measuring cup. It doesn't take much force at all. I set my stove timer for 14 minutes and turned it on. I came back, turned it off after the 14 minutes and put the eggs directly into a bowl of cold icy water. I left them for 1o minutes in the water and flipped them around a few times so all sides got into the water. I took them out and peeled all 7 in under 3 minutes. When I say I have issues peeling eggs I'm not exaggerating and the shells came off soooo easily. I love this product! It's a lifesaver as I need eggs in my diet regularly for health reasons and diet limitations from them and this will help so much with that and it's a time saver. Also there's no big pot of boiling water needed. It is compact and light weight so doesn't take up much counter space.

So easy to make my hard boiled eggs. Comes out perfect every time. It does have a loud noise to let you know when it’s done.

Ótimo produto, o diferencial é que ele avisa quando o alimento esta pronto, eu que sou distraída agradeço, outro ponto importante, nunca mais errei ponto de ovos cozidos. Além de tudo isso é ótimo, já tive um idêntico que meu filho levou pra casa dele e usa muiiiito.

This is the second one I have purchased, I gave the first one to friend. Love the color and how easy it is to use it both for simply hard boiled eggs or an omelet which I do often. It hold a place of honor in my kitchen.
