NOSTRILLA Nasal Spray 0.5 OZ

Have been using this product for sometime now. It is an amazing product for those of us who suffer from nasal allergies. One dose and it lasts most of the day unless the pollens are very high, in which case, you would need to use it twice. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs something but doesn't want to get involved with a prescription nasal spray.

Nostrilla nasal spray is very good for relieving nasal congestion. The only adverse comment I have is that nasal drops are much easier to use (for me); the spray tends to be temperamental, giving one nostril more than the other - probably because I am old (82)and not very dexterous any more.

The best thing there is for cleaning out your nose.I keep thins on hand every year during cold and flu season and I don't think I've ever had to use it more than three or four days.Fair warning, it does sting a bit.

You will never find a better nasal spray and Nostrilla has only a very few chemicals that handle your congestion.

I,too,have used this product successfully to battle seasonal allergies and sinusitis. BUT, recent purchase of this product has revealed a new formula. The inert ingredients (which are used to carry the active ingredient and render it stable and safe to use) are now changed to chlorhexidine (a topical antiseptic known to cause irritation) as well as hydrochoric acid. One spray of this product started severe burning in my sinuses which was followed quickly by a river of mucus. This is progress? All I know is that this loyal customer will be checking out other oxymetazoline sprays! Anyone else having a problem with this new formula?

I purchased Nostrilla because it seemed to be the same medication as Afrin, in a cool pump, at a much lower price. The first time I used it, I thought my brain was on fire. I thought maybe I used too much (which is weird, I've used nasal sprays successfully many times) or maybe I sniffed too hard. But I do know that for at least a half hour, I thought my sinuses had been rinsed with some kind of acid.Tonight I used it again. I have never felt so much pain in my sinuses in my life. I did everything I could to get it to stop. I quickly jumped into a hot steamy shower and tried to breathe it out. I went outside into the cold to try to cool my nasal passages off. I used my neti pot, which finally gave me some relief. I can't believe this stuff is on the market. I would rather breathe through my mouth all night than go through what I just went through the past hour. So glad I found these reviews so that I know I'm not crazy, or just sensitive to it. This stuff is not good! I know nasal spray isn't the ideal way to deal with congestion, but this stuff feels like it's toxic.

I was a loyal customer of this product for a long time. Recently they changed their formula to include a preservative and it is equivalent to squirting battery acid up your nose. It burns every membrane, down your throat, up to behind your eyes. I seriously thought it was tampered with until I read these reviews and called the company. It lasts for30 minute to an hour or more of burning and does not even slightly relieve congestion. It is nothing like the old formula. When I called The rep was very cavalier and said the FDA made them add a preservative that can cause a mild burning sensation but that it's harmless. NOT harmless. I mentioned the dozens of complaints I've now read and she said they've gotten many phone calls about it and that they may eventually try to change the product but that "it would take forever like a year at least these things never move fast." Very unhelpful customer service and wretched product. I won't be buying this again and I would warn anyone else who thinks about it to think again.

I have successfully used Nostrilla for years for allergies, colds etc. ... It absolutely wassss the best nose spray on the market...I used it with my children,and recomended it to family and friends... but I will never do so in the future, or use it my self... What a shame to really find a good dependable,and useful product... And then have the company totally trash a successful product and destroy a long....time.... customer's trust. The tampered with Nostrilla is like spraying chemical bleach or acid in your nose, that promtly burns the back of the throat. It is overwelmingly irritating to all tissuse it touches...and actually chemically scarey... I hope all customers take the time to complain and demand their money back. Why a company would do this, I cant imagine? I plan to write the company and call to complain. I wish I could put up a sign at each store to worn the unsuspecting customer, consummer.
