Zadro Cordless LED Pivoting 9" Wide Oil-Rubbed Bronze Wall Mount Mirror

This was just what my husband wanted in the bathroom for grooming eyebrows, shaving, etc. It is a very high quality mirror--Perfect reflection, no distortion at all. LED lights are nice and bright but don't blind you. Takes 3 C batteries that the box claims will last one year with regular use. Turns on and off with the little knob you see under the hinge, and comes with an optional adapter/cord.He loves it, but I wouldn't want it personally and here's why...10x magnification is too much! This is serious magnification, like dermatological grade. I personally don't want to see that much. I just want to put on eye makeup, and I've discovered that 5x or 7x is perfectly sufficient for that. Anything more and you're asking for lower self esteem and the temptation to squeeze every pore on your face :-)Also, I don't love the way the LED lights make me look... Incandescent is much more flattering and better for putting on makeup if you ask me.That's just my 2 cents. So now you have a man's perspective and a woman's. I purchased a Conair stand-up mirror with 7x magnification and incandescent lights, and I like it much better than this one, but my husband prefers his all the way. Just depends on what your needs are!

My wife wanted a wall mount makeup mirror in the bathroom and after looking all over the place, I bought this one. I would have preferred to get one that hardwired into the house and would have been happy to install an electrical box in the appropriate location but I couldn't find one anywhere that hardwired, was the appropriate color, and lit with LEDs rather than a nightlight bulb.This one runs on C batteries, and it's plenty bright. My wife has used it every day for about 3 months, and the batteries are fine. Hopefully I'll only have to change batteries every year or so. If that's the case, then I'll be money ahead and the nuisance of taking it off the wall to change batteries will be minimal. It also has a power wire that plugs into an outlet, but I didn't have any interest in having a power cord strung across the wall, so it's still in the box.The only critique I have is that the 10x magnification means that you have to be within just a few inches of it to get a clear magnified view. If you mount this on the wall behind the vanity, even with the adjustable arm swung straight out, you have to lean forward over the vanity quite a bit to see yourself clearly. It would be nice if either the arm was a little longer or you had the option to buy one that is maybe only 6x or 8x so you don't have to lean quite so close. The other solution would be to mount it to the side of the vanity instead of behind it, which wasn't an option for me due to the placement of towel racks in our bathroom.Overall, it seems to be a good product. I would buy it again.

I have owned 2 of these mirrors in the past. They last around 2 years. The un-replaceable light went out the first time and the switch broke on the second. Why would I order again?? It's hard to find a lighted wall mount mirror in oil-rubbed bronze and I use it daily. I recently order #3 and when it arrived the bottom section of the extending arm was not mounted flush against the base. I tried to fix it myself to avoid the hassle of returning but it was defective. I also tried just using it but it was too unstable and wouldn't hold position. I sent it back, no problem, it happens. The problem was the replacement mirror they sent me was USED. The mirror was dirty, had old batteries in it and was missing the mounting screws. I called Zadro and they told me to contact Amazon. Amazon did not give me the option for a replacement but will eventually refund my money. Very disappointed.

We've recently moved and I had to leave my last mirror because it was attached in the sale of the home. So, I bought a second one and love it just as much. I've used it for about 10 years and it could be more perfect. Being 60 I need readers but with this mirror (10X) I can easily pluck eyebrows and put on make up. Highly recommend.

Mirror was as expected - easy to install for someone who is skillful with a drill and screwdriver. My wife was very happy - its finish was perfect. Runs on battery or with adapter which is provided. Either way you will want to be near an electrical outlet - using the stud for least one of your screw ins. I used a screw anchor (plastic) for the other three which holds the unit securely. The only challenge I had was the three tiny finish bolts, but was able to complete task after several tries.

Ordered for my wife. Overall the design, color, lighting is fine; however, the 10x convex mirror is just too strong. You have to have your face within 6" of it to see anything - and everything. She thought it was too magnified, and it was difficult to get in the sweet spot. If this was 5x or 7x it would be perfect.

Love this! It's high quality, durable, and it looks really nice. I love the 10x magnification! It's really a game-changer when tweezing eyebrows or looking at pores. The light is perfect...gives just enough light. I was hesitant to spend the money, but I'm so glad I did.

I've had this mirror up for about week and I am extremely pleased with it. The quality exceeded my expectations. The light is very bright and lights up my face when it is on. It is a little difficult to pull away from the wall for use.
