Since my Zoom F3 does not have the 3.5mm input for recording using the Rode lav microphone, I needed an adapter.What's interesting is that the 3.5mm on the Rode lav mic and the Rode wireless mic's red cable are identical tip-wise but I cannot use the Rode lav mic directly using this adapter with my Rode F3. I need to hook up the lav mic to the Rode wireless microphone and the red mic cable allows me to record through it.Sound quality wise, everything seems fine. I'm just not understanding why it wouldn't work directly with my lav mic which would keep it simpler but it's not a huge deal. Plus the value is great as you get two so if I need additional 3.5mm input for any reason, this should work.Also, if your 3.5mm tip has three rings, it will not work. It must have two rings at the tip for the 3.5mm input.

Works with stereo 3.5mm ppugs only.
The tip and ring of the 3.5mm jack were connected together. This caused a mono plug to be shorted to ground. With some difficulty, I was able to open it and correct the wiring. It now functions as it should. The quality of the materials is fine.

Excellent construction and finish
I'm using this to connect my Rode Wireless Pro to a Zoom F6. The adapter construction feels sturdy and the finish is nice. There is a nice weight to it and feels good to hold.Excellent price for what you get, but I wish there was an option to buy only one

Buena construcción, metálico, encaja perfectamente en mi grabadora zoom F3, funciona sin generar interferencia con el receptor del micrófono inalámbrico. Y por el precio son dos, muy recomendables.
