I have had my warts treated 5 times. The one on my left hand is on the knuckle. It started as 1 wart. Then I had it treated. (Salicylic acid treatment and liquid nitrogen/cryogenic treatment). It came back as a huge cluster of warts that covered the bottom half of my knuckle. The other is on my right had on my middle finger. So when I rested my head on my clasped hands, my right hand gave my left knuckle the wart virus. My right hand has had cryogenic treatment 3 times. Every time it comes back. I was unwilling to pay the medical bill of $189 again. (This is after insurance). I started researching different treatments. Duct tape did nothing for me. Herbs did nothing. Burning it off didn't work. I did not want to have it cut out of me. So I researched the cryogenic treatment since it's had some success in the past. I researched the medical version of the liquid nitrogen spray guns. Those were $500-700. I tried to get a used one but auction websites rarely get them. So I started looking for liquid nitrogen. Not the easiest thing to get your hands on. Then I came across this. I read all the comments and other website forums. I followed the instructions and sprayed it on a Q-tip first and then pressed it into my wart. I held it for 10-12 seconds to reach at least 90 seconds of freeze time. When the Dr's did it, they only froze it for 60 seconds. It stings and the larger the area you have to freeze, the more it stings. It will sting for a long time afterwards. Some of my warts were small, so I only had to work a small area. Three area's were larger, about the diameter of a #2 pencil eraser. So I worked to accurately freeze them. It took me only 3 times to really get the hang of it. I am on my second freeze session. The first one was 2 months ago and it killed all the warts I correctly froze. Instead of a massive cluster of 17 warts on my knuckle, I'm down to 6. I'm anticipating 1 more freeze session. But I'm waiting 2 months between each time for adequate freezing. In my experience thus far, freeze the warts had given the best results.

I'm using this to remove skin tags. I got some otoscope speculums (black plastic cone they use to see in your ear) from the nurses office and that works okay sometimes (on one in my inner thigh/groin area it worked very well). The others I use a small cap (off of a hair spray bottle, about 1 to 1.5 across with slight rounded bottom) and put a Q-Tip in it and spray it. I get decent saturation and "sizzle", then touch to the skin tag and it also sizzles a bit. I try to do for 30 seconds, but if the Q-Tip cools off to fast I repeat it. On a couple that were the right size, I put the speculum cone over the skin tag so it was in the small side sticking up and pushed the speculum in to seal, then sprayed, let it sizzle and targeted a 30 second exposure, took a few 10 second tries). It looks like I got stung by wasps according to my wife. It leaves purple marks where treated but mine are in my armpits, only doing one pit at a time. For bigger one (groin and one big one in arm pit) I followed up with the kit on Amazon that has the tiny rubber bands with the skinny cone and paddle used for skin tags (ANY "patches" or natural elixirs don't work at all). I would have been completely miserable if I went off and tried treating ALL of my skin tags at once. You damage, then have to heal, so doing it in stages is best in my opinion. I went to the dermatologist and it was expensive, he was very rude, and he pretty much did the same thing as I'm doing with this. I do have some medical training and experience, but I think some common sense goes a long way here. DO NOT simply put the straw on the nozzle and spray at your skin!!! You will regret being this sloppy and will be in pain. No, I didn't have to do that to know the outcome. I have common sense. Don't go crazy, be smart. Use focused treatment, and error on the side of caution. It works! Happy hunting!

This stuff works great for skin tag removal. Use something to limit the space where it is sprayed, or you will end up like other 1 star reviewers. All of those people should've given it a 5 star for it's effectiveness. We are using it for something it was not designed for, but it works great with proper care. I personally use a larger straw that the red applicator goes into and I hold the straw very firm, hard and close to the skin so the 134 coolant doesn't spread to other areas of the skin. I only pull the trigger a couple, or few times to get enough 134 fluid on the skin tag. It turns red with in hours, black within days and skin is cleared up where I can't even tell I had one after about 2 months. I hope this helps.

I had a purplish 'lump' that showed up on my head at the edge of my hairline, I had a dermatologist check it out. He said it was nothing but a tissue mass and presented no health issues. He went ahead and froze that thing off, it was just a little smaller than a quarter and protruded maybe 1/4 inch? Anyway yeah it had to go, his freezing worked great except he missed a thin edge of it and a few months later it was coming back. I bought this and decided to give it a go myself, this stuff worked fantastic and I made sure to get all of it and so far fantastic results (couple months or so have gone by now). WARNING!!!! Let me give you some very good advice, I underestimated how much dmg this can do and how quickly it does it. I just wanted to spray the 'growth' itself so cut a hole in something and put it over it but didn't put much effort into that and I was doing it myself, results was a half dollar size freeze burn. Luckily it did not do enough damage to scar. You really, really should get someone (someone SENSIBLE) to help you with this and devise something with a hole to help you target only area you want or you can try like some say with Qtips, they actually work decent but for me the affected area was much larger than a skin tag so I sprayed directly. Anyway, just respect how much damage extreme cold can do to your flesh and you should be fine. I would also suggest that you always, always ask your doctor first before you use it on anything.

Mine was used before it arrived. The straw was missing and there was no safety tab on the top. Good luck finding a replacement straw! If it wasn’t for this and the awkwardness using it, I would have given it five stars. I ordered some red straws that looked like those used for WD-40. The outside diameter was .085 inch, but these were too small. I tried holding the straw in, but spray came out around the straw hitting my fingers. That’s not an option. I used Q-Tips and that worked, but it wasn’t perfect either. The spray bounced off the Q-Tip onto my fingers. It wasn’t as bad as before, but it was still awkward. When I placed the Q-Tip on my skin, liquid in the tip sizzled as it boiled away coming up to room temperature. It stings a little, but it works as well as the cold spray my dermatologist uses.

Back when I was young I figured out to use bubble gum freeze spray and cheap clear bic pen. It worked but took a few times to kill warts. My kid had a wart on his knee so I tried Zep freeze spray first and it did a terrible job. After researching I found this spray. Stuff works phenomenally. I couldn’t find a bic pen so I modified a pen to work. You hold it tight to the area you want to freeze. The small hole on the side is key. It allows when you spray to release pressure. It will form a small all amount of liquid that bubbles in the end of the tube on the skin. It only takes a small amount so be careful. Short little bursts. One application and his wart was frozen solid. I’ll update if we have any issues.

I liked the fact that it worked well without holding it upside down, like butane, etc and it has a nice trigger system to use as I had to design my own and to control how much came out, with this one, using very light pressure on the trigger, however, even at a very low trigger force, it can spit liquid, no doubt because I had cut my straw in 1/2 for better up-close work & control. To help keep it off your healthy skin around it, I found holding something with a small hole that fits as close as possible around the target area helped lots but only in short fast bursts as the liquid can still come up and over the edge running down healthy skin. It only turns it red, the target area you keep shooting small bursts at with a second or 2 break if it turns white as is frozen and can't freeze anymore until it warms up and keep hitting it with small blasts to keep it frozen for up to 1/2 to 1 minute. It will take time as my entire area that got liquid on is still red but you can tell after 5 days or so the target area is being affected. It will in time start to die to dry out, turn dark and may fall off in pieces as that is how it worked when I used Butane, pretty much as cold, never thought it worked until I saw it turn dark a week later and it came off in pieces (3) and now totally gone with no scare. It appears this will do the same but better with much easier control. I even cut my straw in 1/2 for closer work and control leaving me an extra if I were to lose it. Love using this. Remember the liquid as if holding upward at an angle it can drip onto your fingers or hand.

When using to treat warts, really works, but be careful. It feels like nothing much Is happening until your skin thaws out and it could be burnt. If you have stubborn warts, I strongly recommend treating often and in stages instead of going full force all at once. Spraying in a small bowl and using a Q-tip is the gentle way, spraying directly on the skin is more intense. Obviously seeing a doctor is ideal, but this is a good second best imo. Just don’t go crazy with it or it’ll hurt later!
