A really helpful book that I would recommend to any parent
I bought this book for my friend who has a baby, and she LOVED it! She found it very helpful. We liked that it had some great ideas for using a range of essential oils for different treatments or outcomes, whether it’s for insomnia, dry skin or the flu…and the baby just seems to love all the massaging! I really appreciate that the book breaks down so clearly which oils can be used at different times & ages, and exactly how they can be used (massage, scented hanky, diffuser etc.). There’s actually quite a range. This is a clearly laid out and really helpful book that I would recommend to any parent.

It is ok
I should have read that it is so short, I read it all in about 10 minutes while I was nursing my son. It had a lot of good, unbiased info (not by Young Living or DoTerra), but it was all info I have found on Pinterest just as easily. If you want all the info in one place it would be great, but it wasn't in depth and easy to jump back and forth with links in the kindle addition. I have been referred constantly to Gentle Babies, hoping a copy will come in soon.

My girlfriend is pregnant and I wanted good information on various topics
My girlfriend is pregnant and I wanted good information on various topics, we will be first-time parents, I'm pretty nervous about it, but mostly happy.I love this book for its useful information and for supporting my decision to wait until our baby is born and older to start using oils. I'm leaning towards waiting anyway until my baby's lungs and other organs more developed before introducing aroma and topical therapy. I can say that this book is a good weapon for alternatives to modern medicine practices. Also good tool for use with modern medicine if need be.

Babies are not experiments
Massage...wonderful for baby and parent-baby bonding. Adding essential oils before the child is two years old - not recommended by ANY professional aromatherapy organization unless the baby is under the care of a Qualified Aromatherapist (200+ hours of professional education). This book is dangerous at worst, worthless at best. Get proper training in the safe use of essential oils before you start experimenting on your precious baby!

This was a great book filled with information
This was a great book filled with information. However, some of the Essential Oils safety standards did not meet my expectations as the book does support some dangerous use methods.

Great Book
I did not know what a difference aromatherapy could make. I use the techniques i learned from this book a couple times every week now and it has been great. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to try aromatherapy with their children and want to use the correct oils in the process.

Worrying Innacuracies
Worrying inaccuracies on which oils are safe to use on babies. Vague and poorly written. No information about the background of the author or her expertise and no resources or index. More a poorly written pamphlet and nowhere near worth the price. I recommend a book by an experienced professional such as Valerie Ann Worwood's 'Aromatherapy for your Child' or Penny Price's 'Aromatherapy for Babies and Children' instead.

Bom
O livro contém informações básicas sobre os cuidados com bebês e crianças através da aromaterapia, gostei dele, esperava um pouco mais, com outras receitas.
