Generator quit working could not be repaired Asurian gave me an Amazon full credit gift card

ASURION Home Improvement Protection is EXCELLENT. Please, don't wave it, you'll need it when you least expected! I bought a generator from Amazon but it broke down at the time I needed it most during winter storm. But when I called the Asurion Associates, they were so concerned and prompt to responding to my claim. They didn't beat around, but promised to repair the generator. However, when they decided they were not going to repair it, they issued me a gift card amount equal to the exact amount I paid for the generator about two years ago. The entire process was less than three days. I was amazed because they didn't waste my time and their response was not cumbersome. Thank you ASURION!

I placed a claim for a defective product on 01/05/2024 and by 01/09/2024 they completed the claim review, identified they could not repair my product and issues full reimbursement via Amazon account credit.

Just like every other car insurance. Renters insurance out there, this company is trash and nothing but a scam. When i tried using the protection plan for two products now, someone who could hardly speak English tried making me go through the manufacturer for warranty. Why would i purchase a protection plan if the manufacturer has a warranty ? I guess that's my fault for falling for the good Ole insurance scam. They are quick to take money from millions of people but when it's time for them to pay out their end of the bargain, they give you the run around. So upsetting.

I wasn't happy with the communications. Asurion would call and only leave a message and couldn't. really understand the message. I'd call them back and it would be like I was always talking to someone else, that had to review the issue again. They said I would get an email with updates, never received an email in the 15 days it took to get the problem resolved. In the end I was happy with the outcome.

We had an excellent experience with Asurion handling our claim. They surpassed our expectations, and we are completely satisfied with their service. We're excited about the prospect of safeguarding more of our purchases with them in the future.

This was the warranty for something I bought. Warranty claims were easy and fast. So glad I purchased the protection. I will always try to pirchase product protection.

I received a response as soon as I asked when I can expect a copy of my warranty. I give them an Excellent rating for their promptness.Joyce
