Musiclily Pro CNC Accurate Acrylic Single-coil Pickup Routing Templates Set for Standard Strat Guitar Body and Pickguard

Both the first one I ordered and the replacement they sent have the same defect. One side of the template is misshaped and has a sharp step where it returns to the proper shape. I’m not bothering to request yet another replacement, as there’s obviously something wrong with the current batch. I have been otherwise very happy with all their other pickup templates I’ve purchased in the past.

There is a flaw in the shape of the cutout. It’s a sharp offset that breaks the continuity of what should be a smooth shape. I returned it and asked for a replacement; it too had the same problem. I also ordered the Tele neck pickup pickguard cutout template; it has the same issue but it’s not as bad (I used it and my pickguard came out fine). This strat one is bad enough, though, that I don’t even want to waste time trying it.

This is the 4th template I've purchased from this seller and every one is perfect. The material quality is top shelf acrylic and the template is cut with great accuracy. I make bass guitars and find these template easy to clamp to the bass rough block and the router has no trouble with the template. They are thick, of high-quality material, very accurate when you wish to duplicate a pattern or to a specific guitar series. I have 3 more scheduled to purchase. Nope, they are not cheap in cost; however, they are built to last. I doubt I will have to replace any of my four for many years. Completely happy with these templates and recommend them (cavities, pickups and the neck template are just great.).

Did the tape/CA glue/tape trick and this thing worked great! Picked up a second for a P90 I’m going to be doing.

VERY good product, fits standard sized strat pups dead on. I found this out bc I was installing a Vintage Noiseless pup. I was able to still use the template but I had to route, readjust the template and route again. A very quality template. Thank you

I usually like to order my luthier tools from more reputable brands, but gave this a shot as I needed the template quickly. This is very comparable with my StewMac branded router templates and I will definitely look into more of these when the time comes. These seem very durable and are especially great for the price.

Top notch templates. Made of quality material. Should last a long time if used with care.

Each part is nice, but, put together, the horizontal center lines if placed over each other, the pickup will not fit into the cavity correctly. Pay attention and set the cavity position according to the pick guard position required.

Good quality, but noticed that the center line on the horizontal axis on the pickup cavity doesn't line up with the same line on the pickguard cutout, might just be on my set. Just something to pay attention to when routing out your pickguard. Its about 3 mm off where it should line up in the cavity.

These are a perfect fit with my American standard strat pickups, nicely made too.
