Plusrite 3403 JCD20/CL/G8/130

I bought these light bulbs here at Amazon for my DIY under counter lights that I bought at a big box DIY store. Unfortunately as I had forgotten the exact look and the exact type of bulb that were in these lights and as these box stores seemed to only carry the G4 pin type of bulbs, Amazon here I came!I was/am very happy that I did, first didn't cost me any gas, I live 55 miles from the nearest box store, and I could get exactly what I needed as I had the time to go back and look at the light when I was online. Needless to say, comparing prices I found these to be cheaper or the same price as the ones in the box stores and I found these to work as well, time will tell how long they last but I'm thinking they'll work quite well for a number of years.

I have a several year old GE Microwave that uses two of these. I've experienced wide ranges in service life from the bulbs I've purchased as replacements, but having recently remodleled our kitchen and having invested in "building in" our current unit, I had to once again replace a bulb. If you do this, I hightly recommend following the manufacturer's protocols regarding handling. If you get the oils from your fingertips on the bulb and put it in service without real attention to cleaning, it will die quickly.

Perfect fit. Not as bright as my original was , but I actually like this better.

I normally buy these at my local home improvement store. So tired of replacing them after being on only a few hours a night for one week. I decided to try these. The bulb is still lasting longer than any other bulb I have purchased thus far.Follow-up: February 17,2012...The same bulb is still workingFollow-up: July 25, 2012...amazingly still hasn't burned out yet.

Arrived with a broken prong; glass is very brittle and the flimsy packaging (a padded envelope) did not help prevent damage during transit. These work great with good life. BE SURE TO INSTALL WITH A TISSUE so as to avoid touching the new bulb. The oil on you hands will cause the bulb to fail prematurely. Really...

These bulbs installed in my oven hood/vent. One is still lit and the other burned out in a month of infrequent use. I guess that's the luck of the draw.
