Dove Men+Care Dermacare Scalp 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner Dandruff Defense 12 oz

I have recently spent over 40 bucks on Therapy Shampoos. I wish I would have tried the Dove shampoo/conditioner first ! This actually put a shine to my very Dry hair

My husband has really bad dandruff and it’s improved it a ton!

My son gets dandruff in the winter and this stuff gets rid of it quickly!

In terms of how this shampoo/conditioner works, I'd say that it is one of the few shampoos I've tried that actually cleans your scalp very well. It will rarely leave anything behind, which is a great plus. In terms of the dandruff properties, I don't think it really solves any dandruff problems for me, but the excellent scalp cleaning did increase the illusion of lessened dandruff.This shampoo/conditioner combo will leave your hair extremely dry when used, and made my hair a bit unmanageable afterwards. You will likely need to follow up with a conditioner, however, this has silicones, so you'd probably want to use a conditioner without them so you aren't doubling up. I wouldn't recommend using this on an often basis, because you will likely ruin your hair.This product tended to leave my hair a little weighted down. I also found that when waking up, my hair was less disturbed by the pillow, and usually kept its shape.In regards to the scent, this product has a fairly familiar scent not too far off from the Dove men+care soaps I've used, so it's not too far off from the rest of the Dove Men+Care product family. Slightly manly scent, but nothing too overdone.In terms of the bottle, it's an ok shape, but the cap could be better. It's not uncommon for water to get under the cap and make the bottle slippery because of shampoo under the cap running out from water running through it.
