Thank you for your interest in the Retinol Body Treatment! Stretch marks can be incredibly frustrating, all the more so because the majority of us will experience them at some point in our lives.

Stretch marks are scars that have formed from the inside out, unlike the scarring you see when skin is externally wounded. Unfortunately, they are among the toughest concerns to treat because there are no cosmetic ingredients or products that can make much of a difference in their appearance, so it’s important to be realistic in expectations. That being said, the Retinol Body Treatment most likely will not provide much improvement. Should you wish to use it however, you can apply it up to twice daily.

Topical skincare products can't raise the indentations back to where the skin level used to be or repair snapped elastin fibers, nor do preventative measures like massage or dermal rollers work to avoid stretch marks. Some prescription retinoids show a small degree of benefit. Some medical procedures can improve their appearance, such as laser treatments and TCA peels, but again, it's important to keep your expectations realistic.
