I purchased this efile in 2020 and it just went out a few days ago. It has lasted me a great deal of years with extensive use, I do my nails and toes quite often. So happy with this drill but very sad it’s conking out on me. Wish I could get it replaced! High hopes!

This drill just arrived yesterday and I couldn’t wait to use it on my first attempt at doing my own Dip Powder Nails. I may be partial, but I think I did a pretty good job using the drill and doing my own nails for a beginner!The drill was extremely light and easy to work with. I purchased a power bank after reading the reviews about the cord length, lack of USB plug etc. I have tons of those plugs around the house from old phone chargers, and having the drill connected to a power bank sitting on the table near me made everything simple and accessible.I gave the product 4 stars only because I wish there were better directions and descriptions/pictures of the accessories. When I opened the box (mine was not wrapped in anything and there was a little drop of pink stuff on the drill, but I think that must be oil or something), it contained everything shown on the Amazon site I ordered from. The only problem I had was that I had no idea how to use the different bits, or what each one is used for. There is a very brief description of a few of the drill bits with very poor quality black and white pictures, but again, it was not enough for me to fully understand how to use the tool properly. I’m sure my nails would have been much smoother and I may not have messed up my cuticles (ouch!) if there was better instructions, descriptions, and pictures.All in all, the ability to control the speed of the drill was great, I didn’t have a problem with the drill stopping while I was using it as some reviewers have said, and I think with time (and the help of YouTube), I just may get a better understanding of what to do with all the accessories it comes with.If you are interested in filling some COVID-19 free-time, and/or saving some money by doing your own nails, I recommend this drill.

This isn't good for natural nails.I have very hard natural nails that grow pretty quickly. I buy files intended for acrylics that I use when it's time to take down the length and I literally saw back and forth for an hour then shape the corners.I haven't been changing my nail color nearly every day like I used to before I started working from home alone since March. I no longer care that they're all exactly the same length and shape and that my cuticles are perfect.I've had powered files before. I knew what I was getting into but hoped it would be different? I just didn't have the energy to do it manually.I don't know about artificial nails but if you have natural nails I'd suggest sticking with a nice glass file. File straight across and never file the sides then seal the edge. I have thick hard nails and in two seconds using any power file I end up with big divots I have to fix.Now if you need to file down nails or screws like for some DIY home project? This thing is very powerful!

If you wanna learn it’s great but only for cuticle clean up and natural nail or maybe even to shape tips and at best it will shave down gel polish and gel extensions but I don’t recommend using it for acrylic nails, even on the highest setting it only scratches the surface of my glam and glitz acrylics. The drill itself feels like it’s well made but the cord it comes with feels cheaply made and doesn’t show the rotation settings so it’s kind of a guess how fast it’s going and you have to see what way it’s going ( left or right ) if you don’t remember like me. Over all it’s okay for the price and if you need a drill for regular manicures and at home use that doesn’t involve acrylic use then I say go for it but definitely won’t work well for salon use unless using gels only.*update the owner of the store reached out to me on her own accord and wanted to immediately resolve any issues I had with the product and was more than willing to help me out by coming up with a solution and even asking me if I had a solution that would better please me. Overall even tho I didn’t love the product I would buy from this store Because I know I have the freedom to purchase and return without a shadow of a doubt that I will not run into problems with that and be able to have a open line of communication with the store and know that everything will be fine and the customer service I receive will be amazing and understanding of my experience and will be more than willing to help. So the 3 star is for the product itself as explained which I view as average but the 5 star is for amazing customer service and the help I have received without me requesting any. I wish more companies and owners were this way.
