What I needed
I used this for my boot laces. Works great and same price as a repair kit which for one boot. This will last me forever.

Issues using this
I was attempting to hang a very heavy swinging weight, and this was not the right product to use. Has no freedom to twist and the crimp clasp could not hold the weight.

Exactly what it says it is.
It’s stainless steel cable. Very thin strands so it is very pliable.

Tiny wire just what I needed
Needle thin metal wire. Exactly what I needed.

Works perfect for a robotic hand
In the process of making a robotic glove-hand for Marlene, a 90 yr old friend with arthritis in one hand . Just slip in the hand and the mechanism exercises the hand. Her husband Roger went to the hospital to pick her up, and I was scrambling to finish it, but, sadly, she passed unexpectedly before he arrived to bring her home. The unfinished hand works perfect, but will sit in the garage shelf identified as Marlene’s Hand. NOTE: all parts, motor, crimping tool for the cable and more all available from Amazon, and this was my first attempt at anything robotic.

Theft Prevention!
I use the metal rope cable to prevent my bags from being open during travel. I’ve made a few in various sizes to keep several pieces of luggage together on trains and busses in the EU. You would be surprised how a few well placed metal rope attachments can prevent pickpockets from ruining your vacation.
