Decent little house, but nails are too small.
Birdhouse is very small, they do give the dimensions, but be aware of that size. As such, the provided nails are very small, my fingers were too large to adequately hold the nail while using a hammer. I might suggest using an awl to "pre-drill" a hole so the nail will hold itself. I did have a problem with some of the wood splitting after nailing. Other than that, the wood is cut properly, and it is a neat little house when properly assembled. I recommend sanding and using wood glue to assist the nails.

Please Do Not Use A Hammer
I read most the other reviews first about small nails and wood splitting so I was a little more prepared. Here is what worked for me.1. Use a small trigger clamp (in picture) or other clamp to hold the pieces together while drilling.2. Use a 1/16 drill bit to drill the nail holes. The 1/16 size lets the nails slide in without a hammer.3. Follow the instructions, doing the sides first.4. Using the nails for alignment, put a small amount of glue where the wood touches wood.5. Use a rubber band to hold the sides and floor tight while the glue drys.If you don't like using the nails, Amazon has some other bird houses made of slotted wood for easy assembly.

Good, but...
Bought for a cub scouts Tiger project, good kit but the nails are small (especially for adult hands) and the wood splits pretty easily unless you hammer VERY gently. Wood glue is the best option for sure.

Check the specs kinda small.
I should have read the specs, only the smallest bird in the world can fit into the bird house. The photos these seller take can be misleading . Will keep a kid occupied long enough for their I pad to charge.

Assembly easier with glue
Bought these for my Girl Scout troop of 6-8 grade girls- very hard to assemble with the very tiny nails and if you could get the nail into the wood it split the wood. We had to give up and glue the pieces together.

Fun project!
I used these as a project in my PreK classroom so after reading other reviews, we used tacky glue to build them

Not worth it
These are made with balsa wood. It splinters as you try to hammer the nails inside. Using glue to assemble the birdhouses is bear.

Great gift
Gave to my 10 yr. Old grandson to go with his real tool set. He loved it.
