Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled

Reading it for the second time! No doubt MLJ was one of the spiritual giants last century whose works are still so influential. He is a gift from above to Christians.

This is such an encouragement. I read it this summer (2020) as a book study with ladies at my church, and it was amazing how relevant it is to the current times. It was easy to read and understand. I have 3 kids under 5, so getting the mental space and time to read is rare, but this book made it pretty easy despite the craziness of normal life plus the craziness of covid life.

This book was bit difficult to wade through in the beginning, but stay with it to the end and you’ll see a powerful truth unveiled..why it was necessary for our Lord to return to The Father and what it really means to “pray to the Father, in Jesus’ name!

MLJ has a depth of Biblical and human understanding rarely encountered in the 21st century. Although, easy to read there is a lot to digest here. Reading MLJ has been a wonderful addition to Bible study to enrich my pilgrimage and equip me to be a supportive companion to other pilgrims.

Because Lloyd-Jones didn't use the daily paper or current events to dictate his sermons, the messages in this book remain applicable to anyone in any circumstance at any time. Greatly encouraging.

For anyone who has questions about the fundamentals of Christianity. super helpful in laying out the truth in an easy to understand way.

Having recently read Joseph Prince The Gospel of Grace, Martyn Lloyd-Jones was mentioned and I was led to this book. I recommend it for further instruction on understanding the Grace of God and of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our women studied this book as a group. Those in the group were blessed by the study on how to have a quiet heart. Several women ordered more books to give to friends who are experiencing difficult situations. An easy read with a powerful message.

Wow, the teaching in this book goes so much deeper than the surface. Martyn Lloyd Jones points out how in this messed up chaotic world, where we are filled with fear, troubles, uncertainty and worry we need to take a look at what really REALLY matters, which is, as always, one's soul and our security in the Lord who cared so much as to die for His followers. Martyn Lloyd Jones really knows how to address and present the facts.

Another excellent book in how it describes God's love and grace toward us and how we find comfort and peace in Him and through His promises to us.

A wonderful and encouraging book/sermon for anxious times. Martin Lloyd Jones points to the eternal to help to deal and to make sense of the now. Lots to highlight and to take note of.
