Replacement Capacitors, Compatible with Asus VE276 LCD Monitor

My Asus monitor started taking up to 2 and 3 hours to start-up. I did some research and some folks were having success fixing their monitors by replacing the capacitors. I found this kit on Amazon and decided to give it a try. The instructions they have are pretty good and truthfully I also watched some youtube videos prior to giving it a try. Well, the monitor now comes right up and it's like new. The challenge was to get the back cover off the monitor and drill out the pins holding the piece that covers the circuit boards. That took most of the time and you should be aware of that as it wasn't in any of the videos or instructions. I say it took 1.5 hours to get it all wrapped up.

Monitor saved! Removing the bloated caps took all of 30minutes but this isn't easy tech work. Between heat regulation and keeping the top clean on the soldering iron, this is a task best left for the experienced. Just opening the monitor was a task, let alone removing and replacing the caps. Knowing a cold joint from a proper on is huge as well.
