What a great invention! No more needing to deal with those fiddly plastic holders which can be difficult to remove from "used" corncobs. Just, as it says, Chuck 'Em!They can be a little difficult to push into the top of the cob, but I haven't had one fail yet. And, at the stem end, they can be a little loose and allow the cob to rotate. But just push it in deeply enough so that the wider bit is embedded in the stem and that problem is solved.

I'm so glad I found these. The plastic and metal type can't compete. Because the holder is in the cob when you remove it from the water or steamer, it's ready to eat. The holders are already in the corn, not hot to hold, and you don't need to wash them. I live on a 3/4 acre lot cut from a used up corn field. Since my soil needs all the nourishment it can get, I plan to recycle these holders by tossing them in my yard. They are wood and will break down.

The media could not be loaded. These sturdy little corn holders work perfect. I usually break my cobs in half to serve them, and these holders let you eat the whole thing with one hand. I've reordered a couple times now. They can be hard for me to insert because they're a substantial piece of wood. I've made a tool to insert them, and now, it's no problem. Hope you enjoy the video.

I helped to cater an event recently and I needed to make over 50 pieces of my "Cajun Corn on the Cob" for the guests. I did not want to serve the corn without holders even though they were small pieces as buttery fingers can make a real mess. When I saw these holders on Amazon I was intrigued so I gave them a shot.All in all they worked great. I got several nice comments about them and people wanted to know where I found them. Besides that, sometimes they were a real pain to insert into the corn. I broke about 6 out of the 100 holders just trying to insert them into the cob. Even when I managed to get them in some of them would not go very far into the cob. If they had a sharper point this could help. What a great idea for a big party! No worries and no hot cob to hold to try and stick the standard holders to…such a great idea.

I bought these for a large family gathering as an alternative to the corn-handled that are shaped like corn and tipped with tetnus-inducing, stupidly sharp, easily rusted metal barbs that hold the corn. These were sturdy, easy to poke into the cob, and easily disposed of when the cob was tossed. I will definitely continue to purchase these over the death stickers that usually haunt the back of my silverware drawer.

My wife really like these. They come in handy at family barbecues or informal dinner gatherings. Easy to push into end of corn cob especially if you cut end of cob to make flat first. Made of wood so are recyclable and biodegradable. Highly recommended.

I’m having 14 guests for Thanksgiving. We’re having corn-on-the-cob. I thought these would be a cute addition to the place settings. I found it difficult to find enough with nice enough ink to be worthy of a place setting. Reference the photo for the wide range of ink printed on them. Very cute product, but need to find a better printer.
