Excellent Quality - Perfect for Freezer Composting
Read in NY Magazine that these storage containers were great for freezer composting & they were right! Have been using for over a week now & the containers are very large & roomy & fit a lot of food scraps. Keeps it frozen til I’m ready to bring to compost bin. Great for those still maintaining a sourdough starter
The 2 quart container holds enough dough for four 12" pizzas - mine weigh approx. 290g each - or one sourdough loaf during bulk fermentation. The 4 quart container is large enough for bulk fermentation of two sourdough loaves, 865g each. If I want to retard the dough during cold bulk fermentation, I find these containers fit in my fridge more efficiently than the round cambro containers (which are admittedly larger). These containers have actually made baking more enjoyable, if that's possible. Great purchase for me.
