Review: My opinion is it works poorly with Apple lightning connector devices - These docks are garbage, quite frankly. When you use a genuine Apple cable (which of course is the only cable that works, you can't use a third party one like desertcart Basics), the devices wiggle around when they are placed on the dock. Why? Because the way it sits, it has the connector, then the plastic piece, then it meshes flushed with the dock. So rather than the device sitting almost flush with the bottom of the cradle, it's balancing a few mm off the dock. With an iPhone 6+ and iPad mini, the results were downright meh. Further adding to the problem, despite the fact that it was threaded properly, the Apple connector isn't firmly in place. Because you take the cable and thread it through the "adapter", then stick the adapter in the cradle. So I found that my connector would tend to push slightly down and up...basically, it's just not a great device if you own an Apple product. If I owned an Android, the cables that come with it are one piece. That is, there isn't an "adapter" really, it just has a micro USB. It wouldn't push around, the fitament would be better, you name it. The dock itself is heavily constructed and feels well-built. But the overall fit of my Apple devices is terrible, and the interaction with the genuine Apple cable is very poor. Review: Does what it says it'll do - I bought this for my wife so that she could plug her iphone and ipad in at night in a very limited night table space. I like the product, it has a solid feel to it and works well once you have a bit of experience with getting the devices to plug in. I've seen two issues. The minor one is that the charging cables tend to come out of the little rubber channels in the bottom if the dock is picked up which means you have to put them back in. The cables need to be kept snug for the plugs that go into the devices (in this case Lightning plugs) to sit upright in the dock so that the devices can be plugged in. The slightly bigger one comes from the fact that the ipad has a think case on it that completely encloses the ipad. If the connector misses the socket it'll slip under the edge of the case which gives enough resistance to make you think you're plugging it in when in fact the plug isn't in the socket. It wouldn't be a problem without the thick case.

Not perfect, but does its job
For the price you're paying; which is quite a lot I expected something like Apple quality in terms of machinery and coating on this piece of metal. However, I noticed a couple of minor nicks in the paint/coat job which expose the metal underneath on the sides of the device. While this is nothing major I expected more for the $70 price tag. This dock gets the job done for what I need it to do (Dock my iPhone 5 and iPad Mini 2). If you're struggling to justify $70 on a piece of slab of metal with cut outs you might want to look elsewhere for your docking needs.

meet don't like
returned it. It's not worth the price and you have to use your own wires if you have Apple products.
