good for a lower power video card that requires 2 8 pin connectors to run, It wans not sufficient for my needs and I ended up buying a better power supply but that is not the cables fault.

I bought a GTX 970 which said it just needed either a 6 or 8 pin cable, lo and behold I found out it needed to have both the 6 & 8 pins plugged in at the same time but my power supply only had a 6 pin cable. After some searching online I found out about this cable and it worked line a charm.

Got my EVGA 1070 FTW up and running like a champ
Got my EVGA 1070 FTW up and running like a champ. I already had a 600w power supply. So all I needed was the right adapter, which you would think EVGA would include with the $500 video card but didn't. 10 bucks later from a 3rd party supplier and I am playing everything at ultra max settings.

2x Molex > 6 pin > 2x8 pin = success!
I had my previous card hooked up via 2x molex to 6 pin adapter. I bought a new GTX 970 that required an 8pin and a 6pin connector. Some how I lost all the other PSU cables. Glad I found this product. It probably isn't good to daisy chain twice, but it works so I'm not complaining.

Shoddy
Showed up and the extra 2-pin connector was loose in the bag. Came out completely from the slot. All of the other cables are a little loose as well.

The adapter worked fine but my psu did blow up as I didn't realize how many extra watts overclocking gpus "crossfire dual config" on a cheaper roseswill 700 watt so make sure you figure how many watts you pull first. The adapter like I said works fine though.
