The label says this bacteria is "inactivated". what does that mean? is this the same as "dead" bacteria? if yes, how is dead bacteria beneficial?

In Pylori bacteria it is gram negative and the drug is gram positive. And by taking the medicine with water the medicine will absorb the pylori bacteria and evacuate by going to the toilet.
