Lyles Golden Pouring Syrup 325g, 11.4 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I use golden syrup for a couple of English recipes I have, especially treacle tart. Corn syrup is not the same thing. If a recipe calls for golden syrup, I highly recommend this one. I also recommend treacle tart. If you have a lemony recipe that calls for corn syrup, try using this instead to give it more depth of flavor.

This is delicious! I can't wait to put it on hot buttered biscuits, and lots more. I sent bottles to my sisters and they love it too. We will always have this in our kitchens.

Love this for anything that needs just a touch of sweetness. I use it all the time in overnight oats - just half a teaspoon or so ramps up the flavor without the cloying sweetness of brown sugar. Also great for hot drinks. Also the price is very fair for a product so hard to find locally.

I have been living Ct. for quite some time. I’m actually a born and educated New York gal. I’m also in my “young eighties “.One of the things we had going way back were ice cream shops. They had the best flavors of ice cream. One of the things we’re “wet walnuts “ on an ice cream Sunday. Since none of this exists in Ct. I was actually surprised. Finding this syrup did the trick. Place the chopped walnuts in a container, pour a good amount of syrup on top and let it sit a while and soak up the syrup. Here you go, Wet Walnuts on top of you ice cream. Can’t beat the taste ♥️

Lyles is always the best. Love the squeeze bottle for such a sticky substance!

My first time to buy this product. I needed it to bake several recipes in Paul Hollywood’s new Bake Cookbook. Very happy with the results. I will still use pure maple syrup on pancakes. This tastes a lot like corn syrup.
